Eating local is the only way to go. What other options are there? But Maui offers many many varieties so it's a tough choice. I like to try different things, so I'll never get bored. You'll like it too if you venture out there and give it a shot.

Unfortunately, we were unable to dine at the hungry coyote as they lost their entire business in the horrible Maui Lahaina fire. Wish them the best and hope they are able to build their business back up. Prayers.

Amazing pork loco moco. The pork was super tender and the gravy had amazing flavor. The food was affordable, served quickly, and good portion size. The employees were personable and very smiley.

Closed. Board over front door. Hope they're ok and that they're open again soon. Gave 5 stars but I have never eaten here.

Great hole in the wall restaurant. There is only a small outdoor seating area, no tables inside. You order inside and they will bring your food to you. We had a rather large group when we tried Eating Local, so we got to try a lot of food, but the favorites was the pulled port and gravy, grilled cheese(kids and adults loved) and fried rice. We were impressed by the flavor and portion size. So much flavor. For instance, the grilled cheese was obviously buttered well and grilled to perfection, giving a crunch on the bite but soft gooey cheese inside. I'd recommend this restaurant to my friends for sure and you know you're supporting a smaller local business.

YUM! One of the tastiest and most affordable breakfasts we had during our stay in Maui. Not a very glamorous shopping center, but very easily accessible, plenty of parking, and lots of yummy Hawaiian options on the menu, including fresh fish. We had eggs with fried rice and juice in cans and were full until dinner! Very friendly service, too. Seating only outside, on the patio.

Best loco moco I've had in Hawaii. Great bang for your buck. They had a sign up apologizing for price increases, but I felt the prices were still very reasonable. Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area. Photo is of the mini set and it's still a lot of food!

Phenomenal local shop, amazing breakfast burrito! Most surprising was the fried rice, it was the best I've had, no doubt. Highly recommend!

By far our favorite place we've found in Maui. Not only was the food delicious on both visits, the service was beyond exception. Regina and her husband Brandon are incredible small business owners. Hustlers working their tails off to try and make it post pandemic. Their food and service comes from the heart. Please make sure you stop by this gem

Arrived to no customers. Interior felt cluttered and unclean. Limited menu. We waited 10 minutes and no one came to take our order. We left, so can not comment on the food. Everything else HORRIBLE. Seemed very odd.

A nice little diamond in the rough. The restaurant is off the main Street, you have got to look for it, and seating capacity is limited, but the excellent food, service, and friendly staff make for a very enjoyable experience. We definitely plan on returning in the future.

Great little family owned shop. Food has a great home cooked feel and portions are generous. Support your local shops!

Great food. We had the blackened ono and seared ono with mac salad and rice. It was seasoned really well and cooked perfectly. Great people too! Sorry no picture, we ate it too fast!Parking: Plenty of parking.

Okay place, not my favorite but not bad. I was so excited to eat here due to the fantastic reviews. I didn't feel it was as amazing and memorable, but still ok.You can dine outside in an open patio and it's nice and shaded.Service was pleasant but kind of impatient with us despite there being no line or anything. They brought out our food to the patio where we were sitting and it was hot and fresh. We got an array of items, fried rice, side salad, fried fish plate with rice and Mac salad, quesadilla with pork and some fries with a topping. The fries were battered and I do not like that kind at all. The toppings were okay but not the most generous for $10.The fried rice was a tad peppery and I couldn't feed it to my child as planned but my plate came with steamed rice so that worked out okay. I enjoyed the fried rice and she enjoyed the steamed rice. The fried fish plate was huge but the fish batter was super oily and unpleasant to me. I took one bite and couldn't bring myself to eat another. My husband had some and wasn't as sensitive to the oil and liked it.The salad was really sad. Just a clump of romaine with some croutons and a couple halved cherry tomatoes. It was $5 and I've never eaten an essentially" just lettuce" salad like that before and hope not to again. The quesadilla was kinda strong on the cheese end. Like Swiss or something in there? Good with mango but we didn't get enough mango topping for more than a couple slices.Over all, I probably would try somewhere new and not go back here as nothing wowed us.

Overall food was really good. Ambience wasn't what we envisioned for a Maui restaurant. Area was a little run down and underwhelming. Service was adequate. I'd go back for the food but the rest of it would keep me from doing that given all the other options out there.
