Place was great and food was good but service was ok. First we had to wait at the door for 10 minutes when there was many tables open . The hostess seated us and then took another 10 minutes to take our order. Thankfully the busboy came to our rescue. I could see our food sitting on the counter for another 10 minutes and the busboy finally brought it to us. I saw a group come in seat themselves and then wave to the lady to order. They had obviously been here before. Food was very good and the place was clean and fun. Maybe the girl was new ? I would still recommend anyone to try this new place

A 2.5 experience. First and most importantly, this restaurant doesn't know what it wants to be. Decor is minimalist but depressing. Rule one , know your audience. Nobody in the place wanted to hear techno music, electronic music or rap. Staff couldn't have been more indifferent. The food tries to be elevated, but it was mostly a flop 2 apps, 2 meals, 2 desserts. Edible, that's it. Lots of way, way better places. Not one dish that was photo worthy. Note to chef... Advertising your burger as 4oz is not an enticement. The preparation didn't make up for it's little patty. Hard pass.

Really good food, nice people, great atmosphere. It was busy and so we had to sit at the bar, where we got to know a couple of locals and a very nice bartender. We had just arrived in Maui, so it was a great welcome. The salmon and Mahi Mahi were excellent!

The food at Fond was excellent. Our server Sieny was friendly and knowledgeable. The whole shell steamed clams in the chowder was good for a starter. The roast pork and lentil cassoulet was yummy, as was the macadamia encrusted swordfish atop the Molokai sweet potato risotto. The meal was finished with a warmed brownie top with ube ice cream. Very fancy food in a relaxed atmosphere. Chef JoJo outdid himself tonight.
Happy to visit while on Maui. The food was delicious. The chicken was so crispy and tasty, the steak was well seasoned and tender. Our server/bartender was great and fun to chat with.

A very nice Asian fusion restaurant in Napili mini mall. The dinner menu is relatively small but quite diverse and creative. This allows for easier selection and quicker preparation. Service is very fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable considering where we are. We would recommend this establishment for either lunch or dinner. Reservation through Yelp.

Super fast - food arrived with in a minute or two! Had the burger which was very tasty and came with fries . Ice tea had an odd taste? Happy to see them back open again and doing well!

We had the pleasure of having lunch at FOND today, and we were delighted! We were the only customers at early lunch (c'mon people!!) We chose to sit at the bar, and tried some starters. The chicken bites were crunchy and the housemade bbq was smokey and delicious. The fries - oh the fries- hurricane style....wow. Amazing staff, great bar, so much to offer...like a James Beard nominated chef! Yeah, if you are hung up on an ocean view this isn't your spot, but if you want really good food and drinks at a great price that feels like your neighborhood haunt, come here. Now! They will be happy to see you!

Have to say this was a yummy find. Went here for my birthday and had the seared catch of the day, rosemary rye sour, a specialty steak of the day and N.A. ginja. All was fantastic and we goobled it up. Service was on point and everyone was super attentive. The vibe was very laid back with a hipster feel. Great artwork for sale there was well.
