The food was awful. The soft taco shells didn’t taste cooked. The value was horrible for the price. Yes things are expensive in Hawaii but normally the food is tasty and you get a decent portion for the price. They didn’t even provide a complimentary bowl of chips and salsa! I will not return.

We ha do a lovely lunch at the oceanside. We had a very good waiter be and enjoyed a light lunch and Margaretta. Fridas last day will be April 3, 2023. They are closing. Nice Mexican twist in downtown Lahaina right on the ocean. Our food was above average and the service was excellent. Our party loved the fresh Margaritas !

Great food and drink but it is an expensive Mexican restaurant. Don’t be hungry for chips as they actually charge extra ($3.50) for chips and another $3.50 for a refill! Seems greedy to not include chips with Mexican food as others do. We had a good experience but this nickel and dime stuff leaves a bad taste on one’s mouth.

Easily our favourite restaurant in Maui. The food is delicious and spot on, cocktails are awesome, location right on the water and the staff are super friendly and attentive. There was a mix up with our booking and they still made room for us despite us being a packed house and we needed a table for 5. We come here every time we visit Maui. Chicken Chimichanga is so good. The Oaxaca Prawn and Rice dish was so so good. Always have a classic margarita when we come.

Are here with my friend and everything was so fresh. Good service, very fast but the food was all excellent. She had the ahi salad after two people at the table next to us recommended it and I had a different salad with chicken. The queso was notably delicious and both salads were such a great choice. We had churros for dessert and I would say get them even if you're full! Oh yeah, we also got another order of chips and salsa to take home because it was so good. This place was a great surprise!

We had dinner here last night. It is our tradition to have dinner at Frida's on our arrival day.It did not disappoint! Being a Friday night, it was very busy and I was glad I had made reservations. We like to sit out on the patio and watch the sunset. My husband always enjoys the burrito with short ribs. I tried the taco platter with one grilled fish taco and one battered fish taco. They were both good but next time I'll go with both grilled tacos because the fresh fish is outstanding.

Had high hopes after eating the chips and fabulous salsa. Really great service. Had the steak taco plate and huevos rancheros with carnitas. Neither had great flavor. The rancheros had a bunch of liquid on the plate—water? Not sure.
From the beachfront atmosphere to the excellent service, we had a lovely time at Frida’s. The fresh grilled fish on a tostada was a delight. The guacamole was full of fresh lime. A delightful surprise!

This restaurant is not as bad as Fred's in Kihei.... but it is not good. Location on the water is nice, the bar is worth a visit...but the food is truly unremarkable.

Took a girlfriend of mine from England to this restaurant while our husbands were playing golf, after finding it on-line. No wait then, so great table with views, very good food and service! My reviews are different after Covid as we've experience dining VERY often out, these restaurants on working to recover. My friend loved her Veggie option tacos and there was nothing left. My taco combination lunch was very good and took some of it back to our condo where we were staying. We'll be back as we try to get to Maui each year!

First time here and we both loved it. Food was served quickly, we sat right on the water. Some of the best food we have had so far on the island. I got the roasted veggies and chicken tinga, would order over and over again. Chips and salsa was great as well. Margarita's could have bit a bit better.

Second time here in past several years and food is just as amazing second time around. Ahi sashimi tostada was excellent, salsa was awesome with fresh, crispy chips and wife enjoyed her fish tacos. Oh and they have siege leguas tequila one of the best tequilas ever!
