I highly recommend stopping by the grocery store if you’re looking for simple souvenirs or basic items. One absolute treat for just five dollars is the pineapple soft-serve Dole Whip—a perfect evening dessert to share while listening to the roosters and enjoying the peaceful scenery.

The ube pancakes are a must. We got them two days in a row. Ube pancake with ube syrup made them really tasty. Prices are significantly lower than sit down restaurants and the food quality is the same. We also tried the Deluxe Island Breakfast with Portuguese sausage and potatoes. Excellent food, reasonable prices, beer, drinks, souvenirs, and nicotine products.

So much single use plastic. Everywhere else on Maui uses compostable plastic containers, but this place is filled with plastic bags, plastic containers, and plastic film. Really disappointing.
On the subject of disappointment, I ordered a medium cappuccino and they filled it half way with liquid and the rest was just foam, which is frustrating as well.

This is a foreign experience to us Ohioans, but these little convenience stores have great food! I had the French dip which was pretty good. Little kiddo had flatbread pizza. Big kiddo got a premade dynamite chicken bowl which was inedible so she went back for a deli sandwich and that was good! Dole whip was fantastic. Husband and kids enjoyed the macarons and specialty drinks from the little coffee shop. Nice outdoor seating despite the crazy feral chicken in the trash can lol.

The coffee is excellent at the coffee shop.
The deli is so, so good! Fantastic prices and they serve you plenty of food. The Kimchi Fried Rice for breakfast was enough for lunch as well. We ate here for breakfast and lunch - all the food was excellent!
This is a good sport for souvenirs too. Lots of variety and selection.
