Incredible food. Incredible staff - Pam went above and beyond to accommodate our group. Our server Justin was knowledgeable and didn’t miss a beat. Views were unbeatable at sunset.
Fantastic meal from start to finish. Very professional service staff. By far the best food (and cocktails) we had during our weeklong stay on Maui. Wine list was great with something for everyone including a long list of available glass pours. The attention to detail was top-class.

We’ve had the pleasure of eating at some excellent restaurants during our stay in Maui. When you get to restaurants like Honu Oceanside you’re enjoying the top, best of the best on the island. The overall experience from atmosphere, service and food are excellent. Drinks are delicious. We enjoyed the shrimp cocktail which had 3 large fresh shrimps. . Our main meals were the mahi mahi , incredibly delicious. Also enjoyed the adult crab Mac n cheese which was unreal. Delicious, excellent fantastic! For dessert we enjoyed the butterscotch creme brûlée which was unique and absolutely yummy! Cappuccino, was done perfectly one of the best I’ve had! Honu Oceanside is a MUST visit on your Maui stay, it won’t disappoint!!!

* I changed my grand review to 4 stars for the simple fact that Pam (The blue eyed woman who is also the GM) Sent me a personal email, apologizing for the experience I had with our server ! Thanks again Pam, you rock * -wish I caught the name of the Bright blue eyed hostess who originally brought us to our table because she saved our experience at Honu. In the reservation, I asked for a beachside table and mentioned it was my 30th birthday celebration so I’m extra grateful I was able to get the beautiful table I wanted! With me and my best friend both being recovering alcoholics, we were excited to see that Honu has a large Mocktail menu. Jerry was our waiter and excitedly wanted to read off the wines so when I interrupted him to let him know we don’t drink his entire energy changed . It’s like he no longer had interest in serving us or taking our order. He made me feel so uncomfortable that I forgot to order an appetizer before our entrees. When I flagged down the sweet hostess to let her know, Jerry stormed back over and said it was OUR fault for ordering so quickly. The food was delicious, and I wanted to have another mocktail before dessert, but my friend saw my mocktail sitting on the bar for 15 minutes before Jerry Brought it over. It was all watered down when it got to me And it came when my dessert was halfway gone. Not only that, but Jerry said We should’ve picked a different table if we wanted the candle In my dessert to be lit. Just a lot of unnecessary comments from him. All in all, I wanted to appreciate the bright blue eyed woman Who’s positive interactions help made my birthday special. I think her daughter is also a hostess because she is the one who told me our waiter’s name. I hope Jerry can find some aloha in his life!
