We started with the Ahi, followed by the octopus and ending with the crab Mac and cheese and filet migon. Incredible flavors, fresh as the ocean and seasoned so perfectly. Even the carrots were charred perfectly. We ended with the butterscotch pot de crème! This was far better than Merriman.

We really enjoyed a few menu items (octopus appetizer is 💯) while some others were misses. Namely, don’t get the Fresh Fish Dore Style. It’s mid, so don’t pay $60 for it. They also happened to repeat garlic mash as the starch for both of our mains (garlic mash is repeated across most of the dinner main dishes). It’s a little disappointing because garlic mash is quite simple, and it would be nice to see variety.
Ultimately, I feel a little let down mainly because I had a superior dining experience a few days later at a similar restaurant that is a little less costly, but had an even better atmosphere, service and tastier dishes.

The best oceanfront dining experience! Let me tell you why… The hostesses were very friendly. My server, Brianna was so nice and very knowledgeable about helping me with my gluten-free and dairy free accommodations. The food was amazing! They used 20 yr aged balsamic versus balsamic reduction on the ahi tuna appetizer and they make their gluten free flatbread in house, it was so delicious, the best I’ve had. All of the staff at this restaurant were awesome! I met the owner and told him he has an incredibly special place with delicious food and great amazing staff! I had the local fish special and it wasn’t mahi, it was perfectly prepared along with the vegetables. If you’re looking for healthy food with delicious preparations, you have any dietary modifications, and you want to sit by the water and see unbelievably magic sunsets... This is the place for you and if you don’t have dietary modifications all the more you can enjoy everything!

Food is good and I love today’s special fish. However, we had a very disappointing experience here. When we entered the restaurant, we were told we couldn’t bring in our sparkling water, so we respectfully left it at the front desk as instructed. However, after we finished our meal and paid, we were shocked to be told that our drink had been thrown away.
No one had informed us beforehand that it would be discarded!! Who gave them the right to dispose of someone else’s property without permission? When we asked the front desk, the staff girl gave a very half-hearted apology — it felt completely. We followed the restaurant’s rules, but was there any respect shown in return? Absolutely not. It’s extremely upsetting to have something you enjoy, and paid for, simply thrown away without any warning.
Maybe for the restaurant, it’s a very small thing. But this small thing at front desk ruined my good mood and gave a bad ending to the meal.

Seated at a table in full sun, next to coastal rocks that were swarming with bugs - super gross. Server was nice but very slow. Drinks took forever (45 minutes) to come out, food not much better, and the restaurant was very tight / claustrophobic, even if we weren’t seated in a virtual oven.
We’ve visited this restaurant twice in the past year, and it’s easily become one of our favorite places to dine on Maui. Each time we’ve gone, the experience has been incredible—from the food to the atmosphere to the amazing staff. When we celebrated our anniversary here, they welcomed us with a glass of champagne each, which was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for a special evening. You can tell the staff genuinely enjoy what they do and are truly good at it—it makes all the difference. The service is warm, professional, and personal without being overbearing. And the food… wow. The crab mac n cheese is something I literally dream about—it’s that good. Each time we return to Maui, we’ll be spending our money here. It’s a restaurant that not only delivers great food and service, but you can't beat the view and the vibes.
