Highly recommend Honu. The chef, bartender and some of the staff came from Lahaina Grille. The main difference between Honu and Lahaina Grille is the ambience; Lahaina Grille was quieter and had more room; however, Honu is next to the ocean.
Should you be in search of excellent food, ambiance and service, Justin and Pam have made Honu Oceanside EXACTLY all of that. Every person you will contact will help to recognize that Honu is a " Must" visit at least once.
We normally love Honu Oceanside. Made a reservation well before our arrival in Maui. Unfortunately we were sat at a corner table next to a table with two young children. While normally this would not be bothersome, it was tonight. Children crying, one was sick with a constant almost like whooping cough constant through dinner, toys clanking..... I could go on but when you go to have a nice meal on vacation and spend $300 and you are there less than hour it makes for not a good...
