I eat at Jersey Mike's all the time when I'm at home. It's my favorite sub shop. So, while in Maui, headed to the beach, we ordered ahead of time to pick up subs for the family. Big mistake. Ordered at 11:30am. Order was supposed to be ready at 11:40am. It's not past 12:20pm, my family has been sitting in the car waiting for the past 40 minutes. I'm sitting in the restaurant still waiting for my order. Meanwhile everyone who came in after me and ordered has received their sandwiches. Not a good experience at this Jersey Mike's. Definitely wish I had ordered somewhere else.

I went in and placed an order at the Lahaina location. 45 minutes before closing they only had white bread. The person making my order didn't seem to know what he was doing. While he gathered the ingredients he kept touching his face with his food prep glove. I mentioned this to him and asked him to change his gloves. Then he turned and spit into the trash can. At that point I didn't feel like I could trust him to make my food and I walked out. I was the only customer and there were several workers. The gentleman who appeared to be the manager was offering coffee to the workers including the one that was supposed to be making my order. I'm so disappointed because I always liked Jersey Mikes before today.

We've always enjoyed JM's subs, but never impressed with its service. As locals, we've always supported this store because we figured much like many other businesses, they're suffering from labor shortages. But poor employee behavior is totally inexcusable. Because the call-in orders are habitually late, we started to place our orders 45 minutes ahead of time, even if the website indicated a 15-minute wait. Today, we did the same just to arrive and not see our order 45 minutes after it was placed. When my wife discussed this with the bearded guy behind the counter, he snapped at her and told her she didn't have to remind him when the order was placed. Really? Being rude to your customer is your best approach to your customer service failure? Lesson learned!Parking: No issues with parking
For me being such a jersey mikes person, I should've realized 2.5 stars and lower is accurate for this store, not apologetic whatsoever when they make something wrong and also very rude employee. Don't recommend coming here.

Always a good choice. Looks like past people complained about the wait. They seem to have taken it to heart and have a good amount on staff now. A safe bet for good sandwich.
