A visit during our May 2025 trip...resulted in thee best fish tacos I have had on the islands so far. Been to the island about 5 times over the last 5 years (and once in 2010). Seriously...try them.. you won't be disappointed. (Service, staff and environment were wonderful as well!)

We can't thank Joey, Cherry, Marvin, Hula dancers, and the rest of the staff for an event that went over the top. From the start of the process Cherry handled everything that made our event perfect. From the setting up to the entertainment to the food. It was exactly how we envisioned it. Old Hawaiian Luau to a perfection. Can't thank them enough and hope to be able to do it again sometime soon.

Great take out location. Best Kalua pork we have had on Maui and my wife had the Teriyaki chicken which was also good! Don't let the hole in the wall location put you off.

My wife and I ate here twice today because the food was so good the first time that we had to try it again. For lunch I had the fish tacos and my wife had shrimp pancit. We were both extremely happy with our meals. My tacos were very tasty and flavorful...For dinner, I had the garlic chicken, and my wife had salmon. Again - Joey's knocked it out of the park. The restaurant itself is fairly small but has a good feel. The wait staff were friendly and helpful - we will definitely be back...Two thumbs up.

First off, the food tasted good, the teriyaki chicken was great, and Mac salad tastes great. If you get the pork so for a cup of teriyaki sauce to put on top. But...not enough Mac salad in a standard order. There's some other not good things too: This shop is in a small food court adjoined with 2 other restaurants. It's order and take out type of service. The cashier was super unfriendly, and they wouldn't let me add on an extra side order of meat even though most other Hawaiian barbeque let's you do that. There is no Hawaiian vibe here though you can take your food and eat on the beach since it's right next to it. Also the plates are expensive but I guess everything is expensive on the island. Unfortunately this is priced about the same as paia fish market and this is no paia fish market. Food tastes good but only go here if you need something quick to take with you.
We have been getting the loco moco and been loving it everyday. The quality and quantity of the dish for $20 is decent. It fills us up fairly quickly and the portions for that dish have always been abundant.

Quantity of food and price just don’t match. For $20 this fried rice is for kids quantity and not adult. Also, the amount of oil in this rice was scary.. Please don’t bother eating here if hungry. Whalers village has far better options for same price and better quantity for an adult. The Italian place right next to this serving sandwiches is amazing and cheaper
