Overall we had ok experience at Joey’s while on our recent trip to Maui, there service was good, the Crispy Pork Blu was good, the pork adobe fried rice was not as well liked, it was difficult to taste the pork it was ground up so small. On the more pricy side for what you get. Probably won’t go back on our next trip.

After waiting 40 minutes for a takeout order, we were not pleasantly surprised to find that the kitchen had “run out” of slaw, their only vegetable that came with the $20+ entrees we got. The meat and rice were meh. Skip this place.

We hoped to have a quick lunch here and to the contrary the service took too long. They could not manage to bring orders for the whole family at the same time. Literally each person ate by themselves and next persons order arrived as the earlier one finished. The food was actually pretty okay not worth the price but not bad either. Salmon was pretty good. The atmosphere is casual but nothing to stand out.

Stopped by Joey’s Kitchen Napili for dinner and it delivers solid local flavor without the resort markup. Easy parking at Napili Plaza, casual counter ordering, and fast service. The garlic chicken lived up to the hype—crispy, savory, generous portions. Laid-back, neighborhood vibe I’d happily return to.
