Great food, great experience.Things do come out of the kitchen at random so some of our party had finished by the time the last dish arrived. Other than that, the food was killer.Joeys chicken is amazing.

Went here on a Monday evening with a friend and it was fairly busy. You have to order at the cashier first and then find some seating. There are plenty of tables available inside. I ordered the pork adobo fried rice and my friend ordered the fish and chips. The pork adobo fried rice is shredded pork adobo, garlic, and white rice mixed together. You can also add an egg for $2. It was definitely filling and delicious! My friend said the fish and chips were good, but nothing to brag about. I would definitely come here again to try some other dishes.

Great Filipino Hawaiian fusion restaurant! We ordered the Garlic Chicken and Pork Adobo Fried Rice to share for the two of us. Chicken had tons of flavor, was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The fried rice was a great side to share and the pork was tender and also flavorful. Restaurant itself was clean and cozy and service was straightforward as you pay at the register and sit wherever you'd like. Location wise it's very convenient if you're in the Napili area as it's located in a large strip mall with plentiful parking and customer only bathrooms. We stopped by here before heading to the beaches in Kapalua and would recommend the same to anyone else in the area.

It was our first time eating here. We were really disappointed. We ordered the special, Garlic Kauai Shrimp. The flavor was good, but they served it with whole, unpeeled shrimp. It was a lot of work and ended up being one bite per shrimp. 6 shrimp for $25! We also tried Joey's Fish Tacos. Not sure what type of fish they used, but it was so dry my husband couldn't eat it. Will not be returning. Way too many better places to eat, especially for the price.

Food was amazing! We had boneless spare ribs and garlic chicken, with a side of sweet potato salad, everything was insanely good.

Food is delicious! I really liked it. I felt like all of it was small portions except the Brussels sprouts. However it was very tasty and liked everything I tried. I really liked all the crispy pork we had. The garlic shrimp isn't pictured because I can only post 10. We got 5 shrimp w rice and some veggies, the shrimp wasn't fresh it was super hard to take the skin off. I thought we would get like a whole container of shrimp and that wasn't the case. The sinigang was tasty had about 3 shrimp and some salmon in it just thought we would get more for over $20. The brussels were crispy and the sauce was perfection. The bananas I heard were good I'm allergic. Halo halo I also heard was good but too much ice? I didn't have that either. I didn't have the tacos my mom said it was different w the sesame sauce..wasn't her cup of tea. I also didn't have the ahi but heard it was good! When we ordered my brother realized after he forgot to make sure that he told the kitchen my nephew had an egg and nut allergy and to make the kitchen know. The person taking our order (not our waitress there's a person that takes all the orders and you seat yourself) was super rude to my brother. They also did NOT buss our tables. I had to bring a couple of things to the bar and felt bad but we literally had no room w 6 people and ordering multiple dishes. I asked someone towards the end to buss our table and she said they will. Which I took as..we will later when you leave. No one cared to check on us. No one took our plates. Our plates finally got cleared when we ordered the halo halo and there's literally nowhere to put it because it's ALL dirty plates. In addition it was rainy and windy and they kept the door open so it was super cold. Ambiance isn't good customer service isn't good. Food was great.

This was our favorite restaurant in Maui on our recent trip (also tried Tin Roof, nearly tied), Tiffany's, Joey's Kitchen in Whalers Village, Fish Market and Miso Phat. You order the food and then find a table. We went close to opening at both and then again another night at dinner since we enjoyed the food so much. The manila clams were delicious and very flavorful. The other two favorites were the garlic chicken and pork adobo. Service was wonderful and ambiance was casual and friendly.

Delicious food. The pork and cabbage was excellent. My wife really enjoyed the Basil Tofu noodles. We look forward to eating here every year.It gets crowded, but I ordered online for takeout and avoided the wait.

Ladies Hawaii Trip 2024, Joey's was our first meal... Pros- very close to our hotel. Brussel Sprouts and Chicken Chow Fun were pretty tasty. Cons- while we had tasty Brussel Sprouts and chow fun, I've definitely had better elsewhere of all the dishes we ordered. The lumpia were just ok (huge disappointment - I love lumpia!), the garlic shrimp dish was overcooked and came way late (they were forgotten under the heat lamps for a while and it showed in the taste and texture). The loco Moco lacked salt, and I'm not one for overly salty food, just enough to enhance the natural flavor(s) of dishes. I think I may have ordered the wrong dishes... the bbq kal-bi ribs and crispy pata that other tables had did look really good. When we arrived, we walked right up to the counter, no line. While we were there though, the line went out the door and around the corner, so they must be doing something right. Unfortunately, as a first meal and a list spot for me, I was honestly disappointed in our overall meal. I felt cheated out of a delicious meal opportunity since time is limited and I do have quite a few other list spots on Maui that I want to try for the first time, as well as a few list spot repeats. Really bummed that Star Noodle is still closed and look forward to when they start up service again! Star is usually my first meal stop, Joey's was a sad replacement....

Had heard about Joeys on my last trip to Maui and made it a point to stop in! Glad I did! I was at first a bit worried about the line (lines are a sign that the meal is worth waiting for) and it was! Line moved slowly. My wife and I both ordered the fish sandwich but we saw the loco moco and kahlua pork come out and the people next to us told us it was delicious! The fish sandwich was fresh tasty and delicious (and a bit messy!), the lumpia was great and the cocktails are out of the world good. Fresh, light, tasty and delicious. So much more to try on the menu next time!

The short ribs were indeed excellent. Flavorful, a touch of sweetness, very moist and meaty. The Chowfun noodles with chicken were delish. Not too spicy but perfectly cooked. My daughter really enjoyed the Lemongrass Salmon. The Garlic Kauai Shrimp were featured on the Drive-Ins, Diners and Dives and the only dish which we wouldn't recommend. The Shrimp were the whole prawn and were just OK, nothing offensive though. So many dishes to try.

Great food and quick, friendly service. The beef short ribs were among the best Ihat I have had. My sister had the Kalua pig and cabbage. It was flavorful and moist. The portions are generous.

Now we know what all the fuss is about. No wonder there is often a line out the door. Joey's Kitchen is really great! The interior has a good amount of tables - mostly used to share with other people unless you have a large group. The outdoor tables can be used if you order your food to go. We went twice while we were in Ka'anapali. My favorite thing (so far) is the Basil Fish - a totally delicious bowl of yumminess with a piece of Mahi Mahi atop a pile of thin noodles and vegetables in a red curry broth (you can specify how spicy you want it - I went with medium and it was just right). I am already craving that bowl and have to wait until we return.

Great place! Order at the counter and take a seat. Food is delicious. Always busy, but never too noisy. Can also sit at the bar. A great atmosphere.
