Kai Cafe

Food is very good and very local. The ritz has really gone out of their way to include locals businesses.From hiring local florists to produce amazing flowers and plants daily, to providing local authentic Maui products and food.This coffee shop being one.The products are all made locally. Including the egg sandwiches. I normally hate premade breakfast sandwiches. But this one is legit.

I wish I took a photo of my bloody Mary and breakfast sandwich. They are both excellent. The breakfast sandwich had a lot of thick cut bacon and fluffy scrambled eggs on brioche buns. The bloody Mary was excellent to put it simply. It also has a great view over the pools and on to the water.

Have a 1 star due to the fact that they even exist in the location from google maps. Sad that the information is wrong and they close at 4 pm but it’s not even 12:00 noon yet. So either they need to change the website times or something else is going on. Was looking forward to some good coffee but that’s not happening today at Kai’s coffee Maui.

The view is amazing. Food and beverages average.

I enjoyed visiting here for a morning smoothie and coffee. Quite a bit of selection. The staff were very hospitable and seemed like great people, genuinely happy to serve you. They were kind enough to modify my smoothies, but had to give my customizations prior to 1pm the day before. Required a bit of forethought, but wasn't an issue once you got accustomed to it. The gelato was yummy as was the avocado toast. And of course, you can't get a much better view than off the balcony. (Take me back!)I took a star off because it was over-priced and smaller portioned, due to being in the Ritz-Carlton.

The view is great! The coffee is decent and they have alternative milk options. The açaí bowl was huge and could easily been shared. The egg sandwich my husband had was wonderful.

I will go here again with pleasure!

We ended up grabbing a bite to eat and coffee about four days during our stay. It's convenient and the coffee/lattes/iced chia tea were all delicious. They have a lot of good options in the prepared food area including everything from small salads to tuna. The service was usually very friendly and efficient. The view from the sitting area is fabulous. A great way to start the day. One downside is that we were vacationing at the end of March days before the mask mandate in Maui ended. There wasn't consistent mask wearing and one day we walked in from outside without our masks on and the woman at the counter was rather rude when asking us to put them on. I get it but there's also something to be said about asking kindly. Everyone else was very friendly and the service was exceptional but for that one time.

A little pricey - but Italian sandwich was awesome. Great place for snacks and coffee. You could go broke feeding family of four.

This was our quick stop for breakfast when we were on the go. (The large buffet breakfast restaurant is lovely, but takes time to enjoy!) Menu has interesting options, service is fast and friendly. Pastries are delightful!, especially pineapple scones and frosted banana bread. I liked the egg white burrito; the turkey blt is even more substantial. Nice berry, pineapple and fruit cups in cooler. Free refill on coffee. Kai generally closed at noon. And always a bit of sticker shock, comparing prices on mainland with Hawaii !

Fun little coffee house just off lobby. Good coffee with comfortable outside seating overlooking hotel and ocean. Plan to sit and stay a bit.

Cold brew iced coffee was excellent! Very hard to find on the island outside of Starbucks. Coffee cake was delicious as well. Ignore the bad reviews from Ritz guests. Service is good and drinks are fairly priced.
