If you’re in Wailea, you need to stop at Koholā Brewery for a cold beer and some great food. Pull up a stool at the bar and say hello to Brian. He’ll hook you up with some solid menu recommendations. The birria tacos are delicious, as was the Lahaina Lite Kolsch. Perfect way to finish off a round of golf in Wailea. 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Excellent food and atmosphere. By far the best food we’ve had in Maui! Each dish had an eclectic mix of high end Hawaiian cuisine and quality food.
Nice outside seating with delicious food. Get the “I’d Smash That Burger”! It was so tasty and paired well with the EVEN BETTER Hurricane Fries. I’d definitely come back!
This taproom was awesome! It's all open and a great outdoor bar. The bartenders were amazing and they have a wide variety of drinks aside from beer.
Staff was great, and beers were good! Love the effort that was put into the logo.
The birria taco might be low key the best happy hour offering in Wailea
I got the Birria nachos that they had for Cinco De Mayo. How is that not a permanent menu item?? The chips were homemade and the birria was delicious. One of the best meals I've had on the island. To top it off Sydney was so welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth a visit
Happy hour runs Monday to Friday, 2 to 5, then again from 8 to 10. It’s a beer-forward situation—don’t come expecting artisanal cocktails or some obscure Japanese whisky. The happy hour food? Honestly, skip everything except the tacos. They’re solid. No frills, no consommé on the side during happy hour, which is a damn shame if you know what that rich, greasy broth can do to a tortilla soaked in beef fat. But if the waitress likes you—or if you ask the right way—you might score a small cup. The burger(not on happy hour) That thing is a beast. Juicy, delicious, and just the right kind of messy. I’d come back just for that. Happy hour here isn’t perfect there’s not a lot of food to choose from, but it’s got just enough charm to pull me in again.
Every visit to Maui my wife and I wound up at kohola brewery on many nights! Why? Great atmosphere, delicious beer (Waterman our favorite), and - most of all - a warm & welcoming people!! Also, music which ranged in quality from fantastic to …not good, all of which made kohola our favorite pub on Maui!!!

It has an old school vibe of a brewery that make good beers, and doesn't care to cater to the tourists, which we liked. Bartender was friendly and prompt. No menu, but they have food trucks. Definitely worth a stop.

Typical brewery - very open and great beer kind of west coast style bitter.
Always a great experience at Kohola! Glad that it has rebounded and is even more amazing than pre pandemic!
My favorite place to visit time and time again on Maui! Beer is always on point and you're always gonna meet someone to chat with.
This place had a great vibe and the bartender on our visit was knowledgeable and clearly very passionate for beer. We tried so many beers and had a great time. My husband also picked up a baseball cap with floral print that makes a great souvenir.
We were on our honeymoon and love to stop at breweries. This place was great! Everyone was in a good mood, beer was tasty and bartender was super nice and kept giving us different samples. Will definitely be back! Mahalo for the great experience!
