The menu has drastically changed not as good, it's very pricey, I had a hair in my drink, I was very disappointed. I used to love it but it is not the same! Waiter stated they can't hire staff since covid which changed everything!

This is a completely different ambiance and feeling at this Roy's location. An open floor plan and tables only no booths. It has an amazing view of the golf course. Be prepared to spend some good hard earned cash.

Both of us were disappointed and thought it was the ONLY bad dining experience we had in 1 week on Maui. Both of us loved the Roy's on Oahu and Maui, which is why we selected this location. It was on a golf course and more average appearance than the other ones we've visited- Cafeteria feeling, my husband said. The waitress was friendly enough when she came around. I could see our cocktails sitting on the bar for over 20 minutes before she came back to check on us. She didn't offer to have the diluted drinks remade and we cancelled the order. The actual food was good, but pricey.

The food is great but... It was our anniversary and we were greeted with a nice Happy Anniversary when we arrived at our reservation time. We were then shown to the very back table with other better table still open. After a great meal we were abandoned. The rest of the diners left and we were in the back corner alone. We finished our meal and were offer desert to buy. Then NOTHING After 290 minutes i went to the mail part of the dining room to find the waiter Christine busy helping others. I asked for my tab, paid it and left thinking if this was Roy on Oahu they would of offered us nice table, a free desert and friendly service We got none of that here. Too bad this experience was such a turn off on our special day. So much for customer service...

Went for just the nostalgia of flavors. Tasted familiar but cook was not the same. Not slow cooked. Ahi was good very tender sauce was good. We were really surprised that there was no warm dessert. No molten cake? No upside down pineapple cake? What a shame. Save grace was our server, Sa sa or something like that she was our standing and am sure would thrive any were.

While dinner was good the place obviously waters to an earlier crowd. We were one of only a few guests and our server left shift at about 730. Was only weird cause she did t mention it. The staff were al great and with the exception of a slightly rare medium rare filet everything was delicious. Ambience is poor at night because all you see is the reflection off beautiful glass windows

We were excited to try something new (to us) especially a restaurant with the name of a well known chef. Unfortunately, we were quite underwhelmed. The Szechuan baby back ribs appetizer were absolutely amazing! Meat fell off the bone - tender and flavorful - the glaze was outstanding as well. My wife ordered the macadamia nut crusted catch of the day with rosemary lobster sauce. As far as we could tell, there was zero rosemary in the sauce - about the same amount of flavor the fish had...zero. The asparagus was fresh but no seasoning....the risotto tasted like overused pasta water. Sadly, we sent the dish back to the kitchen. I ordered the rib eye steak. The au gratin potatoes were lovely. The asparagus was fresh, but no seasoning. The steak was masterfully cooked - but very little flavor other than the glaze that came with it....very flimsy and difficult to cut. Especially for the price - this was quite disappointing. For a restaurant with such a famous name we had expected much better quality. We would not return to this establishment.

 our appetizers, especially the calamari were excellent. Very well prepared and tasty. The Mac nut bass was superbly prepared. The fish was very tender. The sauces were wonderful. The spareribs were also superb.
