I hate to see it because I love Royce, but the ambience here in Maui is the worst ambience of any restaurant I've been to in Maui that is four star or above. There is no attempted creating any ambience and it's way too bright in there. Just feels like going back into the clubhouse after golfing or a cafeteria.

We had the best Christmas Staff lunch yesterday. Matt, Michael, Chanel and chef Jorge took such great care of us. Food & service was outstanding. Thank you and wish Roy's staff and family a wonderful Christmas and a blessed 2026!!

The menu has drastically changed not as good, it's very pricey, I had a hair in my drink, I was very disappointed. I used to love it but it is not the same! Waiter stated they can't hire staff since covid which changed everything!

This is a completely different ambiance and feeling at this Roy's location. An open floor plan and tables only no booths. It has an amazing view of the golf course. Be prepared to spend some good hard earned cash.

Both of us were disappointed and thought it was the ONLY bad dining experience we had in 1 week on Maui. Both of us loved the Roy's on Oahu and Maui, which is why we selected this location. It was on a golf course and more average appearance than the other ones we've visited- Cafeteria feeling, my husband said. The waitress was friendly enough when she came around. I could see our cocktails sitting on the bar for over 20 minutes before she came back to check on us. She didn't offer to have the diluted drinks remade and we cancelled the order. The actual food was good, but pricey.

Cindy our server was an amazing host for our family dinner. She gave excellent recommendations and was attentive and knowledgeable. We will be back!

The food is great but... It was our anniversary and we were greeted with a nice Happy Anniversary when we arrived at our reservation time. We were then shown to the very back table with other better table still open. After a great meal we were abandoned. The rest of the diners left and we were in the back corner alone. We finished our meal and were offer desert to buy. Then NOTHING After 290 minutes i went to the mail part of the dining room to find the waiter Christine busy helping others. I asked for my tab, paid it and left thinking if this was Roy on Oahu they would of offered us nice table, a free desert and friendly service We got none of that here. Too bad this experience was such a turn off on our special day. So much for customer service...
Food was excellent, was quiet but we ate early. Good service. Loved the grilled swordfish!

Went for just the nostalgia of flavors. Tasted familiar but cook was not the same. Not slow cooked. Ahi was good very tender sauce was good. We were really surprised that there was no warm dessert. No molten cake? No upside down pineapple cake? What a shame. Save grace was our server, Sa sa or something like that she was our standing and am sure would thrive any were.

While dinner was good the place obviously waters to an earlier crowd. We were one of only a few guests and our server left shift at about 730. Was only weird cause she did t mention it. The staff were al great and with the exception of a slightly rare medium rare filet everything was delicious. Ambience is poor at night because all you see is the reflection off beautiful glass windows
