While the food was excellent, we had terrible service. The restaurant wasn't very busy, yet the waitress pretty much ignored us once we had our food. It then took an inordinate amount of time to get our checks. We then discovered one of our credit cards was mixed up with another table. It took over 30 minutes for the waitress to correct the mistake.

Fettuccine Pomodoro delicious as always and my guest liked the veal (picatta style) served with asparagus done (grilled) just right! Pinot noir delicious with dinner entres. Scoops of coffee ice cream and macadamia nut ice cream were perfect after dinner treat! Espresso martini too! Believe our server's name was Mark --- attentive and kind. This is one of the best seaside restaurants on Kaanapali Beach out in front of the Marriott Ocean Club.

Waited for a host to check us in and couldn't find anyone. Servers passed by without a word. Restaurant was fairly empty and ambiance was not as i remember last I visited. Food was fair at best and not worth the price.

Our server was overwhelmed and the meal was a disaster from start to finish. It rained on us. We had to move to another table. The other server walked away from us when we explained that we had moved to get out of the drizzle. Our original server was unhelpful when we tried to ask about making some very easy substitutions. They had not made one of the ingredients for their cocktails but it took 15 minutes before he came back to tell us that. Our food came out at different times. He ignored us for about 20 minutes before we could flag him down for the check. Doubtful that we will ever go back.

The food was not good at all from start to finish. The artichole was soaked in oil. The chicken was too spicy to eat, the tiramissu was DRY.

Very nice setting for a dinner. My monchong was excellent, but the chef went overboard on the lemon butter sauce which offset the great taste of the fish a bit. I'm sorry I didn't order it without the sauce. Service was good.

Our dining experience was okay. The food was good, not great. Our poor server was overwhelmed once things got busier, taking orders, refilling water glasses, delivering food, busing her own tables - both her and us (the customers) suffered as a result.

when we arrive the hostess sat us down , and we waited 15 min the waitress and the waiter just keep passing as we are invisible, as a waitress even if its not your table you can ask is someone taking your order. but the keep passing by our table and the waitress is focusing on group of family cause she will get a good tip. but she forgot all of those people who table with, you will get a tip. so she realized and apologized and I didn't like the chicken piccata its to lemony to much acid.they should tone it down on the lemon. but not happy we won't go back again

The sicilian cauliflower was quite delicious and the waitress suggested a great glass of pinot noir, but both entrees--veal scallopini and clams linguine--were entirely mediocre. After taking our order, the waitress was inattentive. Although the restaurant was not at all busy, the entrees took a long time to arrive. And then somehow, when the waitress put the boxed leftovers into a bag, she slopped sauce onto my wife's dress.
We will go back again! The linguini and clams- so good! We sat outside and the view of the ocean was fabulous!

We had a poor experience with the manager not allowing us to use our $50 voucher as he was misinformed about usage.. he was inflexible resulting in us facilitating the credit voucher with the front desk the following morning. As the manager he SHOULD be aware of current policies and practices as opposed to ARGUING with the customer. Would NOT recommend nor ever patronize the restaurant again!! The food was mediocre at best! The only thing going for them was the sunset view!!!

This is a lovely location along the Kaanapali beach front and walk. Lovely outdoor and covered tables, depending on the weather. We had a fabulous day. The artichoke appetizer was awesome. We live near the artichoke capital of the world and had never had one served this way. I am going to master the process when I get home :) We shared the linguini and clams and could hardly finish it all. Another excellent choice. The warm, homemade focaccia bread is perfect for soaking up the butter and parmesan cheese from the artichoke or dipping in the broth from the clams. Great wine list, and good cocktails. We shared a tiramisù for dessert--delicious. This will be on our agenda for next year.

Longhi's has set a high standard for great service with fine dining. Food was great but the service was average. It maybe the location of the restaurant, which is the Marriott Ocean Club. Probably will not be back.

Went to Longhi's with low expectations given it was part of the Marriott Ocean Club. This was hands down my favorite dinner of the trip. The fish was cooked perfectly and we got the macadamia nut pie to end the night. I'd fly back to Maui just for this pie.
