A rare option of Filipino - Hawaiian cuisine! Some showed hints of Japanese cuisine too which was interesting (like Hamachi kama and sushi). Portions were on the lighter side, and therefore the 4 stars (vs 5). Definitely enjoyed the ambiance and our server was really accommodating with our asks (thank you!)

Had a great date night at Macadangdang. The sashimi was the best I had in a while. Fresh flavors, served on ice. Also had some cocktails and ube cheesecake ? Will be going back for sure. Great asian fusion food and high end atmosphere

Food was above average but nothing special. Just went to a high end sushi place in California. The place in California was near and shoulders better sushi and cheaper. All in all, nice but would not return.

We enjoyed a delightful evening at Macadangdangs Asian Fusion restaurant. Creative appetizers and salad were delicious. The selection of local draft beers were a treat for me and the bar was full of local patrons having a good time. The tofu entree with taro leaf and coconut milk was superb and it was a pleasure that Chef Joey came out so I could thank him directly. The chocolate torte and ume cheesecake were a perfect ending for a terrific meal. Thankyou for the excellent service that made our birthday celebration a most memorable evening ????

The restaurant is in Lahina Maui, they are on par with most of the sit down restaurants cost wise. The food was fresh, but nothing to rave about. Service was decent. I will look elsewhere to dine next time in Maui.
Recently ate here in late June 2023. Nothing but positive things to say about this restaurant. My fiancé and I had a late dinner here (8pm) and we were sat right away without a reservation.Our entrees here were DELICIOUS. We had a couple rolls and the seafood bouillabaisseSeafood bouillabaisse was one of the best I’ve had on Maui. It was in a Thai coconut sauce which was just incredible. Their dessert was great too. Overall great experience

The place we wanted to go to was booked solid so we stopped here to see what it was about. Man, am I glad we did! Casual outside dining where we could actually hear each other. Wait staff was attentive and clearly enjoyed talking about the menu.But the food... absolutely incredible. These chefs know what they are doing! We shared sushi rolls, appetizers and main courses among the six of us. Everything was mouth watering delicious ?Our new Go To Spot! We will be eating here every time we are on Maui. Check it out. You will not be disappointed.

I went during happy hour 3-5, the prices were very reasonable along with all the food I ordered being magnificent. Specialty cocktails were only 9$ and very tasty/strong. All the staff was lovely.

We stumbled on Macadangdang by a chance referral. What a lucky find. We enjoyed the service, the atmosphere and the food was incredible. We started with an Ube Colada and a Smoked Rum Fashion and a Ka'anapali Roll. The best way I can describe the Ube Colada is like a Halo halo with rum!!! The smoked rum fashion was a perfect sip to enjoy the Ka’anapali roll. For the main course it was the Bistek medium and Carmelized Butterfish. The Bistek had smashed fingerling potatoes with onion and mushrooms. The caramelized butter fish was light and tasty with a slight sweetness. We finished with Ube Cheesecake and Ube Macapuno. Aaron was our server and made sure everything was perfect. Great meal!!
