Delicious malasadas. Slightly crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle - a little different from traditional malasada you'd find elsewhere. Made to order. Eating it while hot and freshly made is highly recommended. Over time, I've tried many flavors and they are all pretty good.Cash only. Be patient, they are currently short staffed so the wait time can vary. I waited for 45 minutes, people who came later than me waited for 10. So again, it varies since it is made fresh and only so much in each batch. On this day, the gas station wasn't opened before Manuela, so don't be surprised if you see a chain link with cones at the entrance/exit to stay closed until Manuela opens at 8am. The parking is very limited; if the stalls along the highway side are full, there are a few other stalls on the ocean side of the gas pumps.Pictured from top to bottom: Haupia, 2 Chocolates, Lilikoi, Guava, and Pistachio.

Very simple order of 6 donuts, half with filling. The guy there was nice but he completely messed up what we wanted and mixed the worst flavors together.Li-Hing coated donuts with cookie batter filling is an abomination! An obvious lack of care for the customers request took place ..The rest of the fillings had a very poor ratio. Straight up got 2 drops of filling in a 10lb ball of dough?Wish we kept our $20..

$15 for 3 filled ones. I saw 5 stars on Yelp but got scammed. I hate to leave 1 star review for a small business but this is not $5 worth Maladada. I also asked for NO SUGAR, and he gave me all three with sugars and told me to just blew it off.

This place is also known as Maui’s Ultimate Donut. A big letdown compared to malasadas we’ve had at several other places. Long wait, no parking, small sizes. Someone must remain in the car to keep moving it out of the way of other cars coming in. It costs us over $15 for three small malasadas. We were disappointed with these malasadas. If you are familiar with Leonard's, be prepared that these malasadas are about 1/3 the size for a higher price and reminded us of a fried canned biscuit with filling squeezed in. Glad we tried this place, but will not return now that we know better. They were much smaller than Zippy’s. I suggest you try The Bakery Lahaina, Coppa’s in Wailuku, T Komoda in Makawao which are well worth waiting for and visiting if you want better malasadas in Maui.

YUMMMMM. That sums up these delicious pillows of fried dough! I have been a fan of malasadas since my first trip to Hawaii 13 years ago and these didn't disappoint. I am not a fan of the filled ones so I cannot comment on those, but the plain sugar ones are the best in my opinion. Depending on the time of day or day of the week, this place can get busy. We would drive by and notice a line and other times, no one waiting. Please be patient with the staff - they make them fresh while you wait.

The malasadas were absolutely delicious. Soft inside and crunchy outside. We got coconut filling with cinnamon sugar, chocolate in powder sugar, and lilikoi in regular sugar. The wait was long... Made to order so it takes some time, but if you can wait, the end product is worth it!

We drove by several days and saw the lines and decided to try them. We waited an hour and 10 minutes to order six doughnuts($20 worth), there were 7 people ahead of us when we arrived. I’m not sure it was worth the wait to be honest. We ordered a plain, strawberry, caramel, Nutella, peach and lemon. I wouldn’t go back but can now check it off our list of things we tried.

Way, way too sweet and greasy. We ordered 2 banana cream, two guava cheesecake and two mango. Cost for 6 - $ 18! They charge the filling separately. The dough was OK - crunchy outside but not moist in the inside. The filling was way, way too sweet and you can see the frying oil when you lay down the malasada. We had malasada @ Leonard's in Waikiki and those from Leonard's beat these hand down. Very disappointed

Delicious malasadas! Didn’t give 4 stars because the wait when we ordered was horrendous, however it was busy and there was only one person working both taking orders and making the treats to order. We asked what his favorite flavors were and they indeed were delicious.

This is a great spot for malasadas. I was very pleased with the variety of fillings that they offered and even 3 different coatings for the outside of you donut. Powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, and regular sugar. They offered 3, 6, or 12 malasadas. We chose 3. For our fillings we picked nutella, mango, and a special flavor ube cheesecake. The donuts are freshly made when ordered. The only downside was there was only one lady working the stand and she didn't have her next batch ready for following customers. She still had to wait for the batter. We wanted 6 and ended up just getting 3 because of lack of preparation. One lady went up after us and walked away because of the 20 minute wait for more donuts to be made. The malasadas themselves were delicious. My only concern is that the filling is not all throughout the donut. Only a bit was near the outside of the donut then the rest was just dough. I wished it was filled up all the way.Other than that this is worth a stop of you're craving fresh hot malasadas on Maui!

Absolutely delicious! The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is that they were out of the island flavors and chocolate after only being open 1/2hr. However it was still very good! Definitely a must stop. We personally would only get a couple w/filling on our next run because they are delicious even without filling and you can save money.

So so so good! Each hot malasada is hand filled to order and the options for flavours is plentiful.

Okay just go here!!! We have driven by this place way too many times...but never again! It says right on the sign that they have Mauis Ultimate Donut...until you taste these, you have no idea what ultimate means. Hurry up and get there. Get me some too please!!

If you’ve ever had Wiki Wiki’s malasadas, you’ll be disappointed with these. They were over fried and the fillings were nothing more than Maui jelly from the grocery store, coconut syrup for pancakes, and banana pudding. They were smaller than expected, but not too small. These were a on par with something I could have made at home on a whim. Certainly not worth the $42 paid for 12. Save money and go elsewhere.

We absolutley LOVe malasadas and these do not disappoint. Made to order while you wait, they are the bomb. And juat the right size. This is a must stop for a fun Maui treat! They are located in Lahaina on a corner and in the parking lot of Phillips 76 gas station. Served hot and fresh!!! Makes everyone happy!!!
