Delicious malasadas. Slightly crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle - a little different from traditional malasada you'd find elsewhere. Made to order. Eating it while hot and freshly made is highly recommended. Over time, I've tried many flavors and they are all pretty good.Cash only. Be patient, they are currently short staffed so the wait time can vary. I waited for 45 minutes, people who came later than me waited for 10. So again, it varies since it is made...
YUMMMMM. That sums up these delicious pillows of fried dough! I have been a fan of malasadas since my first trip to Hawaii 13 years ago and these didn't disappoint. I am not a fan of the filled ones so I cannot comment on those, but the plain sugar ones are the best in my opinion. Depending on the time of day or day of the week, this place can get busy. The malasadas were absolutely delicious. Soft inside and crunchy outside. We got coconut filling with cinnamon sugar, chocolate in powder sugar, and lilikoi in regular sugar. The wait was long... Made to order so it takes some time, but if you can wait, the end product is worth it!
