Went during happy hour and got a great deal on appetizers and drinks. Main course was delicious and very filling.
Note that when you order a hamburger, fries or salad are an extra charge. I was super impressed with the salad I got with mine but then found out it was 7.00. I assumed rather than reading the small print.
Great ocean views right on the beach! Great happy hour menu, and dinner menu options we tried were all delicious. Being a brewery their beer selection will leave everyone happy. Service was top notch, no complaints at all.
Basic fare that was fine but overpriced for what you get. Large fans blowing everywhere were a bit annoying during the meal.
Our server recommended the butterfish and it was so good! We went twice on vacation and I had it again. I really like the building and view too. We will add it to our list of must visits when we are in town.
I think you should have a couple of floor managers going around asking guests how things are going. And a couple of assistant floor managers going around helping out. And perhaps a cocktail person following up on the drinks.
After getting lost in the resort from the ridiculous path you have to take, and after the music that is far too loud for being in an open setting, the service was actually what killed this for me. The tables were too close to together and one of the servers elbowed my wife in the back, HARD, and didn’t say anything. The service as molasses slow too and we were only there for drinks.

It's a sports bar/brewery but on a gorgeous beach.

Got in to the resort late. This was one of the few things open. They were about an hour+ from closing but the food we received was refrigerator cold. The server was great and they acknowledged that the kitchen was just trying to go home. 🙄 It was stupid hot inside, expensive and we could not wait to be done.

They allow dogs and the dog was barking his head off! I was there for quiet and a great view of the beach and ocean. Did not get it!! Seems like the waiter had too many tables!! Finally, I had the pineapple mana wheat and I had coconut hiwa porter, neither was pineapple or coconut flavor was very faint.

I now understand why this bar has the fewest 5-star reviews in the resort. I had left my ID in the room something I haven’t needed at all during this trip. When my father ordered a round of beers, the server asked for my ID. Fair enough. My father explained that we were guests at the resort and even showed a photo of my passport to avoid the hassle of returning to the room for the physical ID. The server responded with unnecessary sarcasm: “Well, if you’re a guest here, it won’t take you long to go grab your ID, will it?” (Followed by more sarcasm that isn’t worth noting)
I fully support strict policies when it comes to alcohol that's not the issue. But there’s a clear line between enforcing rules and being blatantly rude to paying guests.
One star, and I can see now why others have left similar reviews. For context, I’m 24, turning 25.
Bar tender very rude, expects people to carry passports with you all the time for id, wouldn’t even verify with hotel, don’t bother going there

Very good but not great, as it was at the old location. The atmosphere and being beachfront is amazing but the food has gotten fair to say to very small and fancy. Gone are the days of ordering things like loaded nachos with pulled pork to the sky. To be fair it is now in a resort so I get it. Still a good option for beach front dining.

Average food, raw chewy steak on the nachos, condescending waitress. Good beer though!

We hosted a welcome dinner for my sister’s wedding weekend in MBC’s lanai, and it was a lovely event: the views were gorgeous, the drinks were great, and all the staff were so proactive and helpful. Totally recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
