Pretty good microbrewery. Had a ginormous pretzel and some loco moco. Both were pretty tasty.

It's a brewery, limited menu. Lots of T-shirts. The beer was good - food was so-so. But we had a good time. nice staff. When you want something simple and familiar.

Meh. The beer is ok. Don't trust the website. It's not current. Food was just ok. Wife ordered boneless chicken wings. I think they used spaghetti ragu sauce. No joke.

Nice break from the beach to watch a game. The bacon wrapped poppers and shishido peppers were nice. Had a 4 beer flight. Not too crowded, lots to try. Then get back outside!

Go for the Beers. Find somewhere else to eat. The service was good. We ordered 3 items and all three were subpar. I ordered the fish taco plate. The tortillas fell apart and the fish was really chewy. Nachos had some weird cheese and the only toppings were onions and sour cream. Lastly the flat bread margarita pizza was bland. This was the strip mall location not the beach location.

What a great pit stop in Lahaina. Was driving the western half of Maui and had planned on lunch at Maui Brewing Co. There is something more special about enjoying what a good brewery has to offer on location. Shared sampler flights of many of their beers along Hawaiian style pub foods. The Pub Plate packed with Pulled Pork and Macaroni Salad was just the refuel that I needed.

Seemed like a normal brewery. Good variety of bar food. Lots of draft beef to select from. Dark inside and atmosphere was nothing special. Service was fine but again nothing great. So mediocre overall rating. Not the best but not the worst either. Could definitely be improved upon.

Maui Brewing beer is a great local brew to buy while you're visiting the island, and their brewery is a great happy hour spot! While honeymooning on Maui we tried and loved the Pilsner, pineapple wheat, lager, sours (only on tap) and rice lager. We visited the brewery just north of Lahaina and bartender, Damien provided the best customer service! He was friendly, funny, kind and remembered us by name the second time we visited. We can't wait to enjoy Maui Brewing beer again when we vacation to Hawaii.

We had gone to the Maui Brewing in Kihei on a previous trip and liked it, so after a long day, went to the one in Kahana for dinner. After bad experiences during the pandemic, we carefully checked the hours on their website and Google. After driving for 20 minutes, we arrived to find it CLOSED with a note on the door about their lease and public health problems. OK, fine, there can be lease issues. But for pity's sake, UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE so people know you're closed, and don't have to scramble for a restaurant still open after 8:00. While we were reading their door notice, five other cars drove up and left. Be considerate of your customers!

The nachos are basically microwaved chips with shredded cheese. The building is styled like a food court and the drinks are overall okay with a few excellent options (opinion). The staff is excellent! I wanted to enjoy this more and wish them the best as they continue to operate.

On the News today, this is disgusting: LAHAINA, Maui (KITV4) -– Maui Brewing Company in Lahaina has closed after being issued a red placard following a routine DOH inspection. Maui Brewing Company, located 4405 Honoapi‘ilani Highway #217 in Lahaina, has closed after the July 10 inspection to protect public health due to a cockroach and rodent infestation. They must remain closed until all violations are resolved and the health department allows the restaurant to reopen to the public. During the inspection, DOH observed abundant evidence of a rodent and cockroach infestation. Rodent droppings and live cockroach activity were observed throughout the establishment, including on food items including pizza dough, in refrigeration units where food is stored and on food contact surfaces where food is prepared. Live cockroach activity included a mixture of adult, juvenile and un-hatched egg cases, indicating an active population. Two dead rodents were also observed in rodent traps within the downstairs food storage room during the inspection. The restaurant was also cited for holes and openings where pests can enter; a build-up of grease and food debris which attracts pests; an accumulation of clutter which serves as pest harborage; and lack of soap and paper towels at the kitchen handwash sink. The health department is requiring the food establishment to take the following corrective actions before they will be allowed to reopen to the public: Develop and conduct an aggressive pest control treatment and monitoring plan by a professional pest control company to eradicate the current pest infestation; Deep clean the facility to remove all pest harborage conditions, such as the grease build-up and food debris and clutter within upstairs storage rooms; and Seal all openings within the walls, ceiling and floors to prevent pest entry. A follow-up inspection is scheduled for Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
