The service and quality at Merriman’s you just cd any brat. Great view, fantastic Mai Tai’s and sliders… ahh the sliders. Incredible views of the sunset and our bartender Robert really made our time there memorable!

Great for ambience and views. If you don't have a reservation you may get to sit outside for the sunset views which is better than the reserved tables but the portion sizes are a little silly. We paid nearly $20 for two thumb sized sliders and a few chips. Plus kitchen fee, plus tip, etc. You pay for what you get here and it's not the food.

My food was absolutely amazing Appetizers: beef and Bacon sliders They had to ve the most flavorful burgers i have ever had! I would have loved to have more or even a regular size beef and bacon burger!!! Entrée I had a 7oz filet garlic mash and fresh green beans. The steak was very tender mash potatoes were mashed potatoes. NOW THIS BREAD PUDDING!!!! Was absolutely AMAZING!!!!

We came here for our anniversary dinner and to say I’m disappointed is the best way to describe it. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was good but not amazing. The service was terrible! When they called to confirm the reservation they knew we were celebrating our anniversary and made special note to ask how many years. We actually celebrated here 3 years ago so we were very much looking forward to dinner again. There was no attention to detail from the server, no special anything. The best part of the dinner was the view and the raw bar apps. We also enjoyed the drinks. When we were done, they forgot to wrap up my husbands leftovers. Instead of acknowledging the error, the server made an excuse and tried to guilt my husband into even asking for the leftovers. It was not a great ending. We still asked for the sides to be made and wrapped up. As an added slap in the face, they put 5 gnocchi in a to go box and that was it (he had a lot more than that leftover). Considering it was a dinner for 2 we spend well over $500 and I don’t think it was worth it. Again, the atmosphere was beautiful and the sunset was amazing. The live music was great but the service and food was mediocre at best. Attached pictures of the ceviche and poke as these were fantastic.

Eric was the highlight of our meal! We connected right away over our Seattle roots, since he used to work at a rooftop bar near us. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and his suggestions were spot-on. Classy ambiance, but no views at night. We’ll come back during the day for sure!

The location is the selling point. Food was very well done and high quality, but if this were any other location the cost would not merit the value. My partner and I had reservations at bar seats. We’re hoping we might get lucky and be able to be moved to a canceled table, but no luck which is understandable. Bar staff was lovely and attentive, but $69 entrees lose their allure when the bar bus bin is 2’ from your seat. I ordered the fish special which was good but came out w a piping hot plate and slightly overdone fish which I anticipated as soon as the runner warned me about the plate temp. Hot steak plates , yes, fish, not so much. My fiancé ordered the macadamia crusted fish which was perfect. Overall is was a good experience, but not a home run and not worth the price tag —- we had two cocktails each and two entrees, no apps or desserts at $300 including tip. I was also disappointed that my partners bday wasn’t acknowledged. I realize this is the type of place where everyone is celebrating a special occasion, but a simple “Happy Birthday” or “Thanks for celebrating with us” would have gone a long way and honestly is expected at this price point and reputation

Merriman’s provided an elegant and delicious experience. I highly recommend the mahi mahi as an entree and the bread pudding for dessert. Try to reserve a table before sunset.
Food, drinks and service were fine; it is just not worth for the price they charge - you will be better off with other restaurants in the island with food as good as there, but much cheaper

Very loud - almost seems like chaos - Food is so-so for the money - choices are limited and Mahi-Mahi was the only fish choice You can get Mahi-Mahi anywhere on the island , so not a high end fish by any means Bit disappointing for sure - wife liked her scallop dish so good there I bypassed the cheap low-end Mahi-Mahi and went for the fillet Really disappointing - I had to spit out several bites as it was completely inedible Nice staff but untrained - no napkins provided - I got some out of the supply cabinet under the bar myself and set our bar seats I guess they are resting on their reputation and location We are unlikely to return as this is our 3rd visit and it's obviously gone downhill Better service and better food lots of other places
