OK, you paid $$$ to get here to Maui, now just spend the $ to attend Old Lahaina Luau, you won't be disappointed. Variety and quality of the food, the attentive service everyone provided, the setting, the energy and attractive performers, and the show, all outstanding. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is I've been to many Luau's and I have very high expectations.

Wow, wow, wow!!! Probably the highlight of our entire trip!! From watching them unearth the roasted pig from the underground oven to the view of the ocean to the incredible service (Kona was AWESOME!!!) to the actual Luau itself that told the story of the history of Hawaii...this event was special! Kona kept the all-inclusive drinks coming, described every stage of dinner magnificently, quickly had seconds brought out at our request and was just an absolute delight to be around. This was worth every penny and I would do it again in a heartbeat!!

I attended the Old Lahaina Luau in Maui expecting a top-tier luau experience, but unfortunately, I felt it didn’t quite live up to the price tag. While the setting is beautiful and the show itself was excellent—well-performed, culturally rich, and clearly done with care—the overall experience left something to be desired.
Compared to the Polynesian Cultural Center in Honolulu (which costs about the same), this luau felt limited in scope. There’s much less to do, and it’s more of a single-show evening than a full cultural experience.
The food was also a disappointment. For an event that markets itself as a traditional Hawaiian feast, I expected better flavor and variety. It just wasn’t enjoyable, especially at this price point.
Also worth noting: the traditional seating, while authentic, isn’t very comfortable and should be offered at a lower price than the standard table seating.
On the positive side, the staff was incredibly friendly, the drinks were great, and the production quality of the hula and storytelling was top-notch. But overall, I left feeling like the value just wasn’t there. If you’re looking for a more immersive and activity-packed luau, you might want to look elsewhere.

It was a beautiful location right next to the shore, it had a great view of a nice sunset. It’s set in concentric circles around a small stage. You can mingle with the folks and take pictures. I ordered vegetarian option and the food was decent. We were seated with other ppl in our table family style. The show was very good with live music.

Amazing experience highly recommended! Delicious food and drinks. The menu is awesome and features tons of local dishes. The show is also great and provides some Hawaiian history. Get here early if you want to park right next to the Luau. They do have plenty of overflow parking though
This luau was absolutely fantastic. I know that some of the hotels have luau’s , but they do not do nearly as wonderful job as they do here. I would highly recommend.

This was our first time attending a luau. So there is nothing to compare my experience with. But I did quite a research before booking tickets for this one. I booked this one because they had vegetarian food options. Performance were great and location was great too (just by the water)
Though, I would have loved to see the fire show, which some of the Luau offers.
I love the service, our hostess took good care of us and never let us run out of drinks.
