OK, you paid $$$ to get here to Maui, now just spend the $ to attend Old Lahaina Luau, you won't be disappointed. Variety and quality of the food, the attentive service everyone provided, the setting, the energy and attractive performers, and the show, all outstanding. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is I've been to many Luau's and I have very high expectations.
Wow, wow, wow!!! Probably the highlight of our entire trip!! From watching them unearth the roasted pig from the underground oven to the view of the ocean to the incredible service (Kona was AWESOME!!!) to the actual Luau itself that told the story of the history of Hawaii...this event was special! Kona kept the all-inclusive drinks coming, described every stage of dinner magnificently, quickly had seconds brought out at our request and was just an absolute delight to be around....
I attended the Old Lahaina Luau in Maui expecting a top-tier luau experience, but unfortunately, I felt it didn’t quite live up to the price tag. While the setting is beautiful and the show itself was excellent—well-performed, culturally rich, and clearly done with care—the overall experience left something to be desired.
