This place is inconvenient but it’s good. The pizza is awesome and so are the cinnamon roles. I would argue a 3 hour wait is not worth it becuse I don’t eat sweets but it was awesome. Ordering pizza for pick up is a no brainer. Really good dough /crust and awesome toppings. Absolutely a great pizza. Wasn’t a fan of the ranch.

These cinnamon rolls are the best I have ever had. They absolutely lived up to the hype, they’re are warm chewy and delicious. The only downside is waiting 2.5 hours to get them.

Papis ohana is the best place there is! The main part is the kindest hardest working owners who almost single handedly run this place! Linda the owner man’s the front of house and David her husband bakes all the incredible things especially the amazing best cinnamon buns on the planet! They r enormous and baked to perfection slathered with icing warm out of the oven! The cookies r also great as is it all! It’s worth every minute u may wait in line and any amount u pay and all the extra pounds too! I am honoured to now be good friends with them and can’t say enough good about them and their goodies! Don’t miss this treasure!

Hello again from Arkansas. We visited the 23rd and were lucky enough to grab 2 of your last 3 cinnamon rolls for the day. We will just say the bar that you set will be unreachable. I will likely not get another cinnamon roll until I am able to revisit. Thanks!

I went there at 7AM to get cinnamon roll based on top reviews. Line was soooooo long and to get to the counter it was 11:10AM. But they ran out of cinnamon rolls which is waste of time and energy. Don’t waste your precious vacation time standing in line for cinnamon roll. Check at 10AM if they still have them. They should make more cinnamon rolls during Christmas season enough for
everyone just not making standard count daily.Finally I ended up getting one last blueberry scone. I feel bad for the people behind me waiting with kids for cinnamon rolls.

I would highly encourage on Christmas limiting orders to some reasonable number of pastries (i.e. 3-4 per person physically present).

literally the best cinnamon rolls in the world

Got in line at 7:50, made our order at 8:50, well worth the wait. Ordered 2- King David cinnamon roll, 2 scones, 1 focaccia bread made fresh 45$. Great price for excellent food. They serve pizza and other food which also looks great. Come after 09:00, the line was much shorter after we came finished our order.
Great service, sweet atmosphere, a must go to place while visiting the Maui.

I had an amazing experience today that truly lives up to its glowing reputation. It reminded me of something the writer Francesco Clark once said: “The things made by machines are perfect in their sameness. The things made by human hands are perfect in their uniqueness.” You feel that truth the moment you step inside.

What makes this place so special is the people. Linda and her husband David, who wake up together before dawn to mix their secret-recipe dough, along with their wonderful staff, bring such authentic warmth and joy to the Lahaina community. Their dedication is extraordinary. Linda is up at 2 a.m. to begin the baking, and David is right there with her, hand-making everything with a focus you can taste. When I asked why they don't use machines, the answer was heartfelt: “It just wouldn’t taste the same.”

And you truly can taste the difference—the “uniqueness”—in every bite of their sweet, tender rolls with the perfect amount of frosting. But it's more than incredible food. It's the whole experience—the people, the atmosphere, the care. I’m usually not one to wait in long lines, but I’d gladly wait for one of their cinnamon rolls, and to spend another moment in that uplifting energy. Fresh, handmade, and crafted with love by Linda and David, it’s a truly authentic delight.

The best cinnamon I have ever had and big enough for 3 of us to share! Definitely worth waiting in the line. Super friendly staff and their pizza is great too!
