This is the spot to go for happy hour in west Maui. It’s right on the beach and you can get some great appetizers at reasonable prices. The drinks are great as well, and the service is wonderful. The beach itself is one of the best in Maui, so much so that you’ll know when you arrived based on the hundred or so cars parked along the roadside. Never stayed at the resort this place is apart of, but it also looks like it’s worth a look. The whole property has that throwback Hawaii vibe which is hard to come by these days.

I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but I will be sharing my experience at Sea House. A waitress accidentally dropped plates on me, some of which had leftovers including red soup/sauce which got all over my back, cover up, and bottoms. Several waitresses had to help clean up, including wiping me with towels. Although one mentioned they could do dry cleaning, I declined since I didn’t want to go through the trouble of coordinating that, and we had a washer/dryer where we were staying. I ended up leaving to go take a shower and do the unexpected laundry. However, when my party got the bill, a mere $15 was taken off, which didn’t even cover my meal! I know the situation was an accident, but honestly, that discount was insulting. I went out of my way to do laundry myself, and I didn’t make a scene. Our whole party was shocked by how little the restaurant decided to take off, but they just paid and left. I really think this situation was handled improperly and is why I had to make a review. It seemed like my kindness towards this accident was taken advantage of.

If you're looking for the Aloha spirit, Do Not go here. Tony was our server and he could not have been any more rude, unfriendly and unprofessional.
Nice setting and average food. There are so many more choices in Kapalua.

Great food, right on the beach just down from our resort in napili Bay. We ate very well and the service was super, the view fantastic.

I had the blackened mahi mahi sandwich. It was extremely good.

So where do I start, we’ve been coming to Maui every November for 24 straight years and just stumbled across this gem. The views are amazing the food is very good and it will not kill your budget. I read that some of you gave the service a low rating but we didn’t see that: our server was Susan and if I can give her 10 stars I would. The service was dead on perfect, it was almost like she knew us from a past life. Kudos go out to PJ the manger as well. PJ came by to make sure we had everything we needed. We usually do not review places good or bad but I had to give Susan and PJ a 10 star review.

Gorgeous setting for a decent meal on Nāpili Bay and better prices than some of the other spots near here offering the same.

It’s super tragic they have GARBAGE service.

I loved my first ever frozen mojito and will think of it often when I’m back home in Oregon.

Take what the menu says with a grain of salt. We ordered the mushroom scampi that was supposed to have Ali’i mushrooms, garlic, and parsley. We received shiitakes and tomatoes. When pointed out to server Dianne, she said “The mushrooms are always shiitake.”

I double checked the menu at restaurant and online. Both say Ali’i oyster mushroom blend. Booooooo!!!!!

Prime rib special was excellent, but veggies served with it were woody. Doesn’t matter if it’s farm to table if the quality isn’t great…

Basil crusted fish was FANTASTIC!!!

Nice place, right on the beach so you have great views. The price for our lunch was amazing, compared to the rest of the area this helps make this spot a must.

Our food was decent. We each got the Mahi Mahi sandwiches. I went with the grilled option and my wife did the blackened. I
up-charged to the fries and the wife had the chips.

If you get this sandwich, I suggest going with the blackened. The fries cost $4, stick with the chips, they just aren’t worth the charge.

Overall, great value and a real good Mai Tai.
