This place is always excellent for breakfast, lunch, dinner (sunset), or cocktails! Never had a bad meal. Location on Nipili Bay is excellent. Come for breakfast, bring your beach gear, and stay the day on the cove.

The food was pretty much the definition of mediocre. My 3-cheese omelet was scrambled eggs with sliced cheese melted on top. My friend’s pancakes were… pancakes - nothing special. The Haleakala pancake wasn’t bad - I like it. The cinnamon roll for the table was small enough that each of the 5 of us got 2 bites. It was probably the best thing we had, though. At certain seats, you can see the ocean. They need to patch their ceiling from water damage. The service was prompt and friendly. They clearly have regular customers that they’ve come to know.

We went here twice, once for breakfast and once for Happy Hour. Food was good both times although overpriced for what it is. The hostess was extremely rude to my 7 year old daughter who came in wearing a bathing suit top and jeans (mind you, the restaurant is right next to the beach) and she aggressively ordered her to “cover up” because “that is not appropriate attire for this restaurant”. I don’t see a problem with what she was wearing as there was a grown man with swim trunks and no shirt dining there and there wasn’t a problem with that. If it wasn’t for the bad service I would probably give this place 5 stars.
