This was the best sushi we’ve tried so far. We stopped here once just to try it, and it was so good that we came back again for more sushi and poke. We got the Haleakala roll and garlic chicken plate, it was genuinely the best food we’ve had in Maui. I can also confidently say it’s the best sushi I’ve ever had. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was great. 10/10 would recommend everyone try it out!!

This was our first sushi stop on our Maui vacation it did not disappoint. I was unaware of the delicious sushi the island had to offer and Smash Maui is right near the top of sushi restaurants. The rolls we got here big, filling, and had plenty of fresh local fish. They take their time in sushi prep out of a food truck. Tables are available for seating. Don’t miss this sushi spot on Maui.

No photos because the food is all gone! Fantastic food truck tucked away in West Maui. My previous poke spot had closed down and I was looking for a poke/sushi fix and decided to try out Smash Maui.
Got a Chirashi bowl, Salmon garlic bowl, Ahi bowl, and a few rolls. All of it was absolutely fantastic! I’ve tried most of the sushi spots in the area and Smash Maui is amazing!

The poke bowls are to die for. Fresh fish, generous portions and good prices. Worth driving out for sure. Delicious delicious delicious. And the location has lots of room and is quiet and out of the way on a hill with a view of the ocean.
