Excellent filet and grilled lobster tail! Chicken Parm was also fantastic! Service was on point. Very courteous and helpful. Save room for dessert...the cappuccino cake and creme brulee were a great ending to dinner...with a cappuccino, of course! My family truly enjoyed our experience. Thank you!

Veiny is amazing. Ducks are cute. Steak is better at a longhorn steakhouse. No crust, no salt, no flavor. After $300 the best thing we ate was macaroni and cheese. Fish is like steamed unseasoned fish. My daughter is easy and she hated it. $17 for a old fashioned with makers mark. Other than the view, go eat at taco bell.

I made the mistake of ordering food from this restaurant via telephone and they charged me a $17 gratuity fee even though their website said 2%. I don't mind tipping, but that's only when I dine in not when I pick up an order. Plus, their food is super expensive and their steak that cost $60 did not even come with any vegetables at all. I would stay away!

In my 56 years of living, i have never seen better service from the wait staff than we had tonight with Kevin. He looks scruffy and tall but dont let appearances fool you. The absolute best server I have ever seen. My family and I will be back, and we wiĺl be requesting Kevin B.

The view and atmosphere were wonderful with the pond, ducks, and swans as entertainment. The netting ensures the birds are unable to interrupt an outstanding steak dinner. I had the strip and my wife enjoyed the filet. Both were tender and juicy cooked exactly to the temperature we requested. Service was attentive and made the night special.

It was the best place to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. Kevin, our waiter was top notch, extremely helpful and patient. The atmosphere was great also. This is my go to steakhouse in Maui moving forward.

Made our reservation 2 months ago for Christmas Day for my husband and I. Seated at a table with zero view, figured it was because we were not guests of Hyatt. Service was slow and we attributed it to the holiday. Ordered salad - tasty and good. Ordered a side of Sprouts - out of them at 6 pm - they opened at 5. Main course arrived - my lamb chops which I ordered Medium Well were more than Rare. Sent back to cook longer. Returned chops to table still rare - could not eat them. Offered to recook them - no thank you, my husband had already finished eating by this time; a Pork Chop that he should have sent back because that too was undercooked. Sat approximately 10 more minutes waiting for our server to ask if we might like another drink or dessert. When he finally did arrive - No thank you! Thanks for ruining our holiday.
Be prepared to pay for your steak ala carte. Everything else is paid for separately. I don't mind paying more for what I want. A very overpriced ribeye. 20 oz, bone in, half fat, undercooked, so I fought with the meat and fat trying to cut and separate. Almost couldn't tell which is which. I finally. Decided to stop fighting the steak or eating it, for that matter. I just settled with finishing off my 19$ mashed potatoes Paid over 280$ Unfortunately, Not worth it. I must say that all waiters and servers service was 100% excellent, on a point. When we arrived, the host/ the face off the restaurant started asking questions without explaining why she was asking those questions and walked away, assuming that we would follow her to take us to our table, no explanation, we followed, found out we were indeed being escorted to a table. There are too many other places on the island to eat. Better food for less than half the price.

Sonz is an upscale steak restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Kaanapali Maui. The setting is beautiful and serene located in the Swan Court area of the hotel. The food is priced the same as any fine steak restaurant and cooked to perfection. Great for a special occasion.

Most beautiful Ambience than any restaurant we have visited on Maui. Absolutely great Ceasar salad, spinach and baked potato. Very good steak, plenty to share. Great place to watch the sunset and then see the waterfalls come alive as they become backlit.

What a wonderful place to eat! The wait staff and the service they provided was impeccable. The manager checked in and provided some laughs. I would come back for that alone.
