The lobster was cooked to perfection!!!! The table had the best view of their waterfalls and they gave me a special treat for my Birthday. Highly recommend

I had the filet mignon with the Oscar add on which is a crab cake on top of the steak with asparagus and a Béarnaise sauce. My wife had the Kurobuta pork chop. It was all delicious. Our waiter Michael did a great job and all of the staff were so friendly. We will definitely go there again. They have awesome steak and seafood selections.

Excellent. Split the rib eye, creamed spinach, and twice baked potatoe with my husband and we had some food leftover. Tried to eat it all as it was all very good, so lots of food. Atmosphere is wonderful! Great service as well. Will go back for sure.

My wife and I ordered the 12oz lobster dish. We also ordered a side of asparagus and mashed potatoes. We found the lobster slightly overcooked which made the lobster chewy, as if we were chewing gum. We expressed our disappointment to our server and with the manager. They both thanked us for the feedback and the manager said he would talk to the chef about the lobster preparation. We made it clear that we would never order the lobster again or recommend this dish to anyone.

Enjoyed Shannon as our server! She gave us excellent recommendations! Very sweet disposition, wish her great success!

Salads were great, staff is great, but steaks are cooked on a flat top... which is a crime for anyone who knows anything about cooking steaks.

No sparkling water of any kind. Steak was a bit dry on the outside and did not seem like an 8 oz cut. All accompaniments to the steak were “extra”.. A pricey meal for 2 over $220. One glass of wine $20 and one beer.

Delicious food and outstanding service. We arrived for a 3 night stay and had dinner the first two. Would likely go there again tonight but we booked the Hyatt luau as a first time experience. Highly recommend Sonz Steakhouse. Caitlin was our server..we asked for her table the second time, as well.

Great setting. The steaks were prepared perfectly. Excellent wine list. Being open-air, it was a bit chilly, so a jacket felt good.

At the suggestion of our waitress, I ordered the ribeye steak. Honestly, it was on of the worst cuts of meat I have been served in a restaurant. At $90, needless to say I expected much better! The meat was full of gristle and was tough - not something that a $90 steak should be. The waitress was apologetic and gave us a very nice desert, but it did not come close to making up for the poor cut of meat. My advice is to not order the ribeye steak!

Very nice location/view, easy parking, good food, good drinks, reasonable prices for Hawaii, service could be better

Our dinner at Son’z was average, but the price was ridiculous. For that kind of money there are plenty of better options (Merriman’s, Mama’s Fish House, etc). At Son’z our meals were OK. Similar to an average steakhouse elsewhere. I know prices are high in Maui but over $150 per person (1 drink each) is crazy for average food and service. And then they added an $11 “kitchen surcharge”. Find somewhere else.
