Overall very good. I was questioned on my reservation as to whether or not, this was a special event. I answered that it was an anniversary. I was disappointed that there was no mention from the staff regarding this event. There was also no free dessert for the event. I am wondering why I was even questioned on my reservation as to a special event.

We had an excellent meal here at Son'z Steakhouse at the Swan Court at the Hyatt. I had the lamb chops and she had the roasted chicken. I also appreciated that they had a selection of half bottles of wine. We will definitely come back soon.

We ate at the bar, Jeremy, our server was super. Great recommendations. Food served promptly, steak was SUPERB, cooked perfectly. Sides of mushrooms, onions, loaded mashed potatoes also delicious. Wedge salad large, crisp, lots of bacon & blue cheese. Crème brûlée dessert & Port were great finishing touches. Again, Shout out to Jeremy!!

This was our first time dining at Son'z and it was such a beautiful place. The food was amazing but a little expensive. Our server was Kaylyn and she was fantastic! We were seated right next to the pond watching the swans and ducks peacefully swim around.

If you want a steak in Maui this is the place. The service is excellent. The food is outstanding. Lisa was our waitress and was top notch. Would highly recommend. Cost for starter , main course, shared side and cocktails about $100 a person. Can't wait till next time.

We love coming here when we are on the island. It's a beautiful setting with the constant lullaby of the waterfall. The waitstaff is excellent from every last detail. The steaks are always cooked to perfection

We really enjoyed Son'z and had dinner there twice during our visit. We had a young woman as our server both evenings and she took very good care Of us. Food and ambiance are wonderful. Perfect spot to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries . f

Was expecting more from a restaurant that claims to be a “Steakhouse”! Food was bland had to ask for salt and pepper to just make the steaks and side dishes edible. Had to ask for water to many times to count. When you paying Morton or Ruth Chris prices you expect a little more. Do your self a favor, if you're considering Son'z spend your money at a local food truck! Wish we would have. Very disappointing to the say the least!

Great food and service! Beautiful transformation from a breakfast buffet restaurant to a fancy steakhouse! Our family ordered the Caesar salad (to share), rib eye (split for 2), mac-n-cheese, and a veggie pasta - all were very delicious.

We were given a fantastic table along the exterior. Service was great, as was the food. This is the first place on island that actually knows how to cook a steak - better than Duo. The prices are a little high, including the wine but you have to pay to play. The kitchen service charge is annoying and I adjusted my tip to factor in that kitchen tip.

This place exceeded our expectations. It's a perfect place to celebrate with great energy. Service stood out. My only complaint was the overall seasoning and the texture of the purple mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked properly but it was like the cooks forgot to use salt and pepper. We will be back

We had a wonderful time at Son'z! We started with a drink at the bar with an amazing view. When we got seated, our table was right by the ocean and the entire restaurant is open air — just beautiful. The food was delicious. My husband had fish; I had the filet. It was perfect! They even brought us an anniversary dessert. We loved this restaurant and told many of the bartenders at the pool bar. They mentioned that people ask all the time, so now they felt good recommending it.

Our salad was very good but both entrees were just ok. The shrimp scampi had many large shrimp that were chewy and seemed overcooked. The rest of the dish was bland. The Maui Mahi did not come with a sauce and seemed a bit dry. The rest of that dish was also very unremarkable. We will not spend that much money for that kind of food.

Very loud. The tall ceilings don't help with the acoustics, it kind of echoes in there. Service was okay, but I think she had too many tables that were seated all at the same time. We were often sitting there, waiting a little longer than we should have. Our waitress was very nice, attentive (as much as she could be), but stretched too thin I think. She had 4-5 tables that placed their orders all at the same time. The food was fairly good. I had the lobster ravioli. There were a few ravioli where the pasta was under cooked on the edges. The sauce was delicious though. My husband had the New York steak. He asked for medium and it was a bit on the rare side, more red than pink in the middle. And there was quite a bit of gristle on it. The brussel sprouts were tasty. We enjoyed the meal despite the few hiccups. We would go back and give it another try.
