Wildly delicious noodles, etc. The fish we got was beautifully cooked with sauces and garnishes that highlighted the fish, not hiding it like some places. Delicious, well-balanced cocktails. But the broth and noodles are just exceptional. Pretty reasonably priced, too, considering the quality and location.

Unable to evaluate the food. We made a reservation on Open Table which necessitates a per charge fee for now show. I tried to leave a message that the storm mightale it difficult to make it 1.5 hours prior. Got no response. Said we'd try as $20 pp charge. So we braved the storm and found it closed. I am sure Open Table would have a process to let people know this, but I am really disappointed that we got nothing at all. Found a little pho shop open. Just a sad way to run a business. I know things happen but customera should be notified if the restaurant elects to close.

Star Noodle encourages sharing dishes, and that gives you the opportunity to try several things in one visit.
The grilled octopus was better than I would have guessed (recommended it you're a little adventurous). We also got one ramen-style noodle and one dry noodle dish.
We showed up without a reservation. They told us it'd be a long wait (maybe an hour), but then they were able to seat us (party of 2) in under 10 minutes. Perhaps it was just luck.

The food was an absolute 10/10. We had the Hapa Ramen, Kim Chee Ramen, and Garlic noodles. Everything was amazing. We were seated at the bar and our server JJ was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He gave some great recommendations and the entire experience was exceptional!

Ramen, garlic noodles, and boa buns are a must as well as there delicious Hawaiian-style drinks. The food is delicious and continues to be each time I go. We have been supporting this restaurant since its original location and love coming here on trips. Expensive, but worth it for the experience. The view is incredible and I would recommend coming during sunset for the full vibe. (MAKE RESERVATIONS) It is very difficult to make a walk-in around dinner and lunch so be prepared to wait if you do not have a reservation!

This was an easy recommendation for us. We went with Hapa Ramen and the steamed pork buns, and both were the kind of dishes you keep talking about later. It felt like a real “Maui dinner” night for us, the kind where you slow down, share bites, and leave genuinely happy you made the time for it.
We featured it in our YouTube video, search for “Replicate the Magic” on YouTube to find it.

We made reservations for dinner: 7:45. Understand it was busy, but we didn't get seated until 8:10. That seems excessive. Our server, Honey, was great. She was helpful with choices, friendly and helped get our meal out.
We asked for all of our food to come out as it was ready. The pork buns came our first and quickly and delicious. The octopus was also very good. So good, we ordered another order. The garlic noodles came out next and we waited and waited for the next dish. The garlic noodles were salty; it seemed like it was seasoned with fish dashi powder. In the meantime, we added ramen. The additional order of octopus and ramen came out and we were still waiting for the ahi. We had to ask Honey about it and she got it to our table. Drinks were good, but expensive. The malasadas were a bit doughy, and we had to wait a while for them.
Their new location has a warm, inviting farmhouse feel. The bathrooms were clean, but the trash was overflowing. Maybe it was the end of the night. Parking was difficult, but we got lucky. At one point, we thought we should have taken Lyft.

We had a wonderful dinner at Star Noodle last night. The restaurant is right on the water and has a light, airy vibe. Yusi was our server and she was very friendly and understanding...especially when we dropped a soup spoon and broke it!! She gave us great food recommendations...we enjoyed each dish. We started with the drinks...a mango speciality cocktail with Japanese vodka and a jalapeño margarita both were delicious!! Next we got the adobo ribs and steamed buns. The ribs were succulent with a vinegary glaze. The buns so soft and filled with tender pork belly...so good!! Next we had the ahi avo poke dish and the green papaya salad, so refreshing! Then we got the hape noodle bowl and the garlic noodles...the broth was so flavorful!! For dessert, the malasadas was the perfect finish...it came with caramel and chocolate sauces and crushed peanuts. The malasadas were warm, fluffy and sugary...just the right amount of sweet to top off a wonderful meal. Thanks again Star noodle and Yusi! We'll be back!!
Amazing view with great food! Had short ribs, garlic noodles, miso fish, green beans and tonkatsu and all was just so good, melt in your mouth.
The ice cream with the hot donut style Portuguese pastries was a perfect way to end the night right by the water. Our waiter Andy was also amazing and made the whole night fun! Would come back in a heartbeat!

Food was great, But service was lacking. Our server wasn't very attentive so we sat for a long while after being seated before he came to the table. He didn't check in after the food was served (and we had questions). Failed to bring a second order of drinks
Adobo ribs were very good but not great. Pad Thai okay. Butter fish very good. Shrimp Tempura good. i expected better...
