Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Maui!! Their miso salmon and ramen are top quality, and the noodles all hand made in house. The atmosphere around is filled with a bright vibe of tropical colors and the perfect amount of shade to capture the island weather without there being too much sun. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is beyond measurable. Praying star noodle and the rest of Lahaina make a recovery from the horrible fires. Everyone deserves to try this place!

Update (after recent visit) - after years of repeat dining here we had a disappointing visit. Reception hostess was polite but looked sad like she had a really bad day. Hapa ramen noodles texture was different, and the broth was dark but just salty and didn't have the usual delicious flavor. Fried soup with chunks of rice noodle was just terrible this time ---- it was way too salty and tasted like plain soy sauce. Servers seemed overwhelmed and it was difficult to flag one down for missing noodle soup spoons. My drink order never made it into the system. However, the steamed pork belly buns were totally delicious as usual. And you still can't really beat the ambiance of the patio dining area and the million dollar views.#####We always have a meal here when in Lahaina. Always excellent service and comfort food. I love their pork bao and the Star udon. They are super popular so get a reservation to avoid disappointment!

I went because I saw Star Noodle on DDD. I liked my meal but I can't claim to be a huge fan. Our server was friendly and helpful enough but at the end of the meal I had had an above-average bowl of ramen that got cold rather quickly, all at Maui prices. Would I go again? Possibly, but I'm not in a rush.

Food was excellent. We had the papaya and shrimp salad, pork buns, shrimp shemi and hot and sour soup. It's a share type style. Service was great. You all should try it when in Lahaina!

The Vietnamese crepes are a must - not pictured as we dove in and ate the entire dish before I remembered to take a pic. The pear and beet salad and fried cheesy corn which is what is pictured did not disappoint! Can’t wait to come back.

Unreal beachfront sunsey view right from your table. We were lucky to spot a huge turtle waiting to be found. Food was okay - mediocre if you come from Korea or

I agree that this place was overhyped. If you've never had ramen or SE Asian noodle dishes at a reputable spot this is pretty solid food that was well cooked overall. But I've had better and cheaper ramen and noodles in a variety of places. I enjoyed the Lahaina fried noodle "soup" with the unique thick noodles. The ramen was good overall, but the broth was a bit dull. The most disappointing dish was the papaya salad, not because of the flavor which was solid, but because the dish was primarily iceberg lettuce and pork rinds. Total ripoff, and in a place where the papayas literally grow on the trees!

Beautiful spot in Lahaina with wonderful ocean views. The food is phenomenal as is the service. We particularly loved the shrimp tempura, look moore fun noodles (holy delicious, Batman!), and the cheezy corn dumplings (a huge hit with our kids....we had to get two orders). By far one of the best places we ate during our vacation.

One of our best meals in Maui! Star Noodle is a lovely restaurant, located on the water and the food is excellent. Make a reservation in advance and enjoy :)

Unfriendly and rude staff. Food is okayish and not worth the hype. We could feel racism from staff there.

Star Noodle Review: As usual, the food is lovingly prepared and perfectly seasoned. This location is much better than the previous. They are very busy, and it's hard to get reservations. However, people cancel, I recommend signing up for Resy. We were notified an hour before, very convenient. Garlic Noodles, eggplant, shrimp tempura, and the Nuoc Cham Chicken are all excellent!

We went for a casual dinner. Very good service and good food. It is very difficult to get a reservation, so we did a walk-in and we’re able to get the last two seats at the bar. The food was as wonderful, as it was the first time we went.

Our family has waited 6 years to finally eat at the famous Star Noodles in Lahaina. It definitely did not disappoint. We had the garlic noodles, salmon, an egg dish, and ramen. It was supposed to be family style however my family needs exactly what they order. We will absolutely go back again.

The Shrimp Shumai, Pork Buns, & the Lahaina Fried Soup were delicious! In particular, the Lahaina Fried Soup was full of flavor. It's like very thick chow fun sticks cooked in sweet soy sauce -- TASTY! Excellent views, too. As with most restaurants on the island, make reservations (or go during off hours) so you don't wait. We went at 5pm and were lucky enough to get a table.
