overcooked dry catch of the day and overcooked rubbery tiny scallops. But the presentation was well done!
Great food although it felt a little rushed and a bit more theatrical performance could have been made.
Typical Teppan-Yaki set up. Three two person rows around a flattop “stage” with the master griddler in front. He was a showman, telling jokes and setting off rum soaked stacked onion ring to create volcano pyrotechnics. All the couples were strangers but got to know each other during the meal. Everyone enjoyed the food and the show. We have enjoyed Teppen-Yaki many times and have never been disappointed. Recommend, especially if you have enough people to fill the table.
Great dining experience! My only concern was the eating part felt rushed. I was the last to get my food as I had chicken and halfway through eating, the staff was coming around with to go boxes as everyone else was done. They also just asked if we wanted fried rice and we said sure! It's an $11 upcharge we immediately saw in the menu and changed to white rice. You sit with other parties and that was fun!
We have been here many times, just not happy this time. First I just wanted to say the chef was very good, he made the evening, if it wasn't for him we might not come back. I ordered the NY Steak, quality was not there, very fatty, grizzly. Used to get more, I remember a Coleslaw/Cabbage to complete the meal, nothing. I ordered the fried Rice which i got and was good, but dinner was coming to the end and no one else had gotten the white rice, had to ask for it, which for most was now to late. One of are guests said he couldn't have mushrooms and that they would do vegs separate, that didn't happen, so he could not have any vegs. It was a guests birthday and we couldn't order a dessert, i don't think they have any? Just not getting allot for the $$$.
Great food, entertainment, and service. We've been here twice and each time has been fantastic. Book well in advance as it's often very busy and hard to get a reservation.
>NO HOT SAKE offered on menu!!! >NO FILET MIGNON offered on menu!!! $130+ for less quality AND Sheraton Hotel where restaurant is insde their building, charged for parking even with $130 pd for one person and ticket validated by restaurant!!! NOT HAPPY
It was odd there was no other tables and they tuned someone away in front of us for being a little late to their reservation. Not sure i would go back
Huge portions. Great service. Our chef was hilarious! The kids loved him and he catered it to them.
We had the first reservation of the evening (5pm) so the restaurant was fairly quiet at that time. Our Chef was hilarious and the food was delicious. I would go back for sure.

Fantastic food and great service. Randall was entertaining and engaging throughout the evening.
The food and experience was very good and we were very lucky to get a last minute reservation. Although the chef knew of my husband‘s food allergy and cooked someone else's scallops on a different grill away from his food, the chef used the same utensil on all of the food. When someone has a food allergy, cross contamination is a very real thing!
The Chef did a great job of entertaining us all. The food was good, but was preparred with tons of oil and butter. The one downside was that it was so noisy we could hardly hear each other or our chef. That said it would be lots of fun for couples with kids.
One thing to keep in mind before you go - you sit at a table with other diners unless you have a large party (8). It's not exactly romantic and can get a little loud, but it's a fun and entertaining experience. When we went there was not a bartender so they only served wine and beer - no cocktails. The food was good with a limited menu.
Way too much garlic!
