This experience is always fun!! We had a family of four with 2 little boys at our table and they were adorable and loved it ! The older couple who refused to sit at our table was handled with grace by all and we had a great time!! And of course the food was good!!! A little pricey but worth it!!!
Food overcooked, service slow and chef not entertaining. Poor imitation of Benihana. Not worth the high prices. Don't eat here!
Very very over-priced. ~$75 per meal, $11 upgrade for garlic rice.!!! Service was friendly, but restaurant was warm, loud, only beer/wine and no cocktails and food so-so for the price. Made me miss Kobe's even more.
The restaurant is just 4 teppanyaki tables cramped together - no decor to speak of. The room looks dated. Does not send a good vibe for this price level restaurant. Food and service is average at best. Nothing special.
You shouldn't have a 7:15 reservation and then not eat for 50 more minutes and swear to death because of the heat in there!! The food was fine the cook was a good guy in his humor but the presentation was sloppy. Just annoying to spend $300 for 2 people and you are dying to leave because of the heat. Set a higher standard for your customers because you charge high prices for this meal.
The food was amazing. The service was one of the many reasons to come back and enjoy a wholesome delicious meal. Thank you again. We truly appreciate it.
We celebrated or 38th anniversary and made new friends. Great time and food was delicious!
Normal Japanese grill set up for eight people. Good Chef (Raymond). Entertaining and personable. Steak, lobster, shrimp and Rice were good. Saki was good. No desert was offered. Drinks refilled.
We loved Jet our chef he took care Of us and made sure our 4 year old bday girl had a great Time
Fun table of people and chef was entertaining/engaging. The chicken teriyaki was ok the shrimp was very good.

We had to wait around the hot cooking table for about 30 minutes before the cook finally arrived, which was uncomfortable. The chef was friendly once he started, but unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations. Service definitely needs improvement from moment of arrival to the end!
Fun on a vacation. Server and Chef were very nice. Very overpriced for what you get and $6 for a club soda is a little over the top, but it is The Maui Sheraton. Hotel is absolutely beautiful. One time stop for me.
If you like teppan cooking this is the best place on Maui. In fact, if you are a long-time Maui visitor you might remember Kobe and they hired 7 of their chefs once Kobe closed a few years ago. We had Randell and he was wonderful! Food was fresh and a broader variety than Kobe. Good combinations. Sauces weren't very flavorful. Oil they cook with was good. Vegetables were very nice (good assortment). We had the scallops (a bit salty because my husband had them with macadamia nuts, I think), I had the chicken and shrimp combo (nice big, juicy shrimp). Fried rice had the option of bacon in it -- tasty. But atmosphere was small, cramped and low ceilings. The Marriott property is nice and they have a lovely cliff jumping and lighting ceremony at 6:30 PM that you should try to watch -- lovely and steeped in tradition. Dinner comes with valet parking or paid self parking.
This restaurant is an awful experience from the moment you check in. It feels like an after thought from the rest of the resort. They almost tried to talk us out of eating there when we checked in because it's so hot inside. We should have known that was a bad sign. It seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. They have a bar menu but when we ordered drinks they said sorry we don't have a bar. The food was absolutely terrible. This is the worst teppanyaki restaurant I've ever been to hands down. And then on top of all of that, this is probably the most expensive teppanyaki restaurant in all of Hawaii. We feel like we actually got robbed.
We had to wait for the other party to show up for 25 minutes. We're just sitting around the hot table no bartender available to service cocktails and the food was done all that great. It was a waste of money.
