The Ulana Terrace is a wonderful way to begin a day. The breakfast buffet looked lovely but I prefer ordering off the menu. Our server Adlai was helpful and attentive. He even brought us an anniversary surprise at the end of our meal!
Food was exceptional, possibly the best on the island. That being said the service was lacking for an Applebees let alone a restaurant in the Ritz Carlton. Server was nice and so were all those assisting but took a long time to get basic drinks like cranberry juice and went long periods of time without water refills. Possibly short staffed that night, but have nothing else to compare to but the one evening. Again the food was amazing.
Service, food and drinks were very good. At 160. 00 per plate without tip or drinks it's expected.
This was the biggest disappointment of our trip. Cold pan seared scallops?! Day old waffles.. everything was old and tasteless. Biggest waste ever!!
Excellent service, as always! Buffet seemed a bit light on choices, especially for the Christmas holiday. Spectacular views make up for any limited options. The menu seemed like a better choice.
The Mac nut coconut pancakes are amazing! The breakfast here was truly great. Wish they had the same coffee menu as the cafe upstairs.

A good breakfast spot Make a reservation You can choose the Buffett or ordering off the menu. Although we heard good things about the buffet we chose to order off the menu They have an amazing breakfast ramen, the Maui omelette was delicious, and the smoked salmon was delicious as well! The Kona coffee is to die for OMG! Breakfast was a bit on the pricey but that's expected in Hawaii Overall a great breakfast experience, we visited twice during our stay
Ulamni offers an elevated breakfast buffet that truly stands out. I loved the mix of classic breakfast favorites—like the omelet bar and waffles—paired with thoughtful local touches such as Portuguese sausage and tropical-inspired pastries. The addition of healthy, Asian-influenced options like stir-fried vegetables, fish, and dumplings makes the spread feel unique and well-balanced. There is genuinely something for everyone.
The dining room is beautifully designed, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for a buffet. No matter where you sit, you get a stunning view of the ocean, which makes the whole experience feel even more special.
Highly recommend starting your morning here.

Amazing service. Our server was the sweetest and very efficient. Food not to good. Not enough options and little flavor. Expecting a lot more or a restaurant at the Ritz.
We felt so welcome as soon as we arrived! The buffet is amazing! The service is impeccable!

Jazz Festival Brunch Buffet - at $90 per person, this was *ok*. Most of the hot food was not hot - because they did not keep it in chafing dishes (gumbo, rice, crawfish mac n cheese). Not only does this reduce the enjoyment, but it's a potential safety issue. Pastries stood out, however - the guava croissant-thing was about as airy and light as a pastry can be with just the right amount of guava filling. Music was very good.
Food was amazing and the service was absolutely stellar! My only complaint is that there weren’t many vegetarian options, and the price points for vegetarian and non-vegetarian buffet were the same — hence 4 stars instead of 5.
I asked the staff to make my omelette the way I like it, and they did a terrific job — it was so good we ended up ordering it again! The stir-fried veggie dish was decent, though I wish more menu items had vegan or vegetarian versions. For example, the pineapple fried rice had ham in it, so I couldn’t try it — maybe offer the ham on the side?
We also had the Kona coffee, which was so, so, so good! The fresh fruit juices were great, and the coconut flaky pastry was unique and delicious.
Overall, wonderful food, fantastic service, and just a bit of room to improve the vegetarian selection.

Servers were spectacular, very warm and engaging! Loved the fried rice and breakfast ramen.
The breakfast experience was extremely disappointing in both the quality and variety of items.
Made breakfast reservations but still had to wait for the window table as requested. Amy was an amazingly attentive and patient Server. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast (breakfast ramen, smoked salmon/hash browns and breakfast buffet). All of the food options were quality.
