A classic shaved ice place that you'll need to check out when you're visiting. The ice here is so soft and fluffy, rather than that grainy texture you might see off the islands. The toppings are plentiful and service is so friendly. A great snack when you're on the island!

I was told I couldn't leave Maui without stopping at Ululani's for shaved ice. After my whale watching tour that was the next pit stop on my list. So refreshing and to get to experience walking on Front St window shopping the other shops (Mar '23). An amazing experience.

Yes awesome place. Just like Hawaii. I drove from San Jose just to grab some. The line was out the door. Like 40 people. Just have one suggestion would be putting some heaters outside. 8-9pm it was pretty cold standing outside for 30-45 minutes. Other than that awesome place!!!

The shave ice here is so awesome! And the coconut ice cream was so good at the bottom I could eat just a bowl of it.

Every time I go to Maui, I basically eat my weight in shaved ice from Ululani's. My favorite is the Hawaiian Root Bear Float with a snow cap . I have only been to the two Lahaina locations, which I assume did not survive the fire . There is another location in Paia though, and hopefully they will return to Lahaina and rebuild.

Long overdue review, but I'm not sure why Ululani's is rated SO HIGH. Let me be clear. It's good. It's tasty. It's great for Maui. Is it the best hawaiian shaved ice I've ever had? No. Is it the best value Hawaiian shaved ice I've ever had? No.Ululani is not very big portions and on the expensive side. There is a also a long wait. When were were on the Big Island, we went to 2 shaved ice places (one is the Original Big Island Shaved Ice Company) and they were both better. The OBISIC is WAY better.You order from downtown Lahaina front street and it's a small shop. Then you can walk around Front Street eating it, which is a nice experience. Unfortunately, this location was subject to the fire that recently occurred, so they will need to rebuild. Thankfully just a small shop, so I'm sure they can get back on their feet without any financial impact. I just hope everyone make it out OK.FYI - there are other locations for Ululani's and they have historically all been pretty consistent. Also, a tip is that they have one flavor that includes the snowcap. That is the best value!

We enjoyed our shave ice and experience at Ululani's the week before the fires. We are so heartbroken to hear about the fires and the loss of Lahaina. Praying for recovery!

Hard to believe I was one of the last patrons to enjoy their shaved ice the night before the wildfires. Hoping Ululani's comes out the other side of this tragedy I also wanted to send a huge thank you to the locals who rescued us by boat after evacuating the marina from the fires. Keeping the entire Lahaina and Maui community in our thoughts and prayers as they continue to search/ rescue and rebuild
