Ululani's Hawaiian Shave ice - Hyatt

It was the first time I ever tried the Hawaiian Ice- and I was hooked. I had it every couple days. I especially liked the macadamia ice cream with a snow cap. I tried several syrups and they were all good. With tip I ended spending $10 for this delicious treat and it was well worth every penny. I tried the location near the Hyatt and on Front street in Lahina. Everyone should experience this delicious treat.

First time at Ululani's!!I got the coconut lovers shave ice with snow cap and fresh Mochi.Beautiful presentation and the taste of the shave ice was so smooth!!I did feel like it was lacking in flavor though. :(Excited to try it again with a different flavor!

We walked down the beach from the Westin several days in a row to get our shave ice fix here. Other shave ice places end up serving you crunchy ice that is more like a snow cone. This shave ice has a very fine consistency, like eating a fresh powdered snowball. Ululani's has tons of flavors and toppings, including fresh mochi. They also offer a base of ice cream if you want. Sometimes, they are very busy, but hey, you have to expect that if you have a great product. They do have other locations on the island, so if you can't make it to the Hyatt, check them out at Lahaina or Kahului. Once you try them out, you'll definitely be back!

It was great to have a shave ice on-site at our hotel. They didn't have tiger's blood, which is my favorite, event though it was on the menu board. That was a bit disappointing, but otherwise it was great.

This is our favorite place on the Big Island so we tried this location. Just as good. They poke sticks into the ice to make sure the syrup gets all the way through the ice. So yummy.

Coconut, Pina colada, and tigers blood with macadamia nut ice cream! It was refreshing and tasted great. We got there right at 11 am and had no wait. Did the penguin feeding and wildlife tour at the Hyatt before and it landed us right by Ululanis!

Delicious!!! Gourmet. Super-soft shave ice, many delicious flavors, GF mochi topping was soft and yummy. Also great vegan cream topping! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Best shaved ice in Maui! We tried several shaved ice places when we were in Maui—this was our favorite. I got the sunset with macadamia nut ice cream and a sno cap. It was so good! ?

Warning - all other "ice" desserts will suffer once you have had Ululani shave ice. Their machines turn out what amounts to creamy-textured snow with deep amounts of flavor regardless of which direction of tastes you choose. The straw technique ensures you never run out of flavor and highly recommend the ice cream at the bottom. Prepare to abandon the slushy, icee or any other shave ice proprietors - this will become your only option going forward. Do not leave Maui without at least one.

Go at the beginning of your trip because you are going to want to go multiple times! We went 3 times! Also, get the snowcap (sweetened condensed milk drizzle on top). Absolutely delicious! Loved the Tigers blood with a snowcap and the Hawaiian root beer float. FYI, the regular coconut is a more real coconut flavor and has a very light flavor.

We went out of our way to have the shave ice here bases on great reviews. And the reviews were right, it was delicious!! Far superior to any other one we've had. However, this location at the Hyatt Regency was absolutely terrible due to the ridiculously loud music the DJ was pumping next to the pool at 4pm on a week day. It was so loud that my 18 year old daughter went to wait in the car to get away from it. We were SO incredibly happy that we didn't book our stay at the Hyatt because there was nothing relaxing about their pool or beach. That being said, we ate the shave ice in the car on the way to our quiet beachfront condo and enjoyed every minute of it!

It's at the pool level fo the Maui Hyatt Regency. Almost hidden from everything. We used this on the last day of our stay. Service was good. We were able to take it to the room without melting. Good choices, We got the mango and the pineapple, specially the no sigar added stuff

As good as I heard it was! Fortunately got there before the line was long. Red velvet with snow cap and coconut was fun and delish!

I think about this shave ice at least once a week — it was so good!!! I got mine topped with the Li Hing Mui Powder which was the best decision I could have made — it gave it a savory touch and really rounded out the flavors. My tip would be to keep an eye on the line (it can get very long) and grab some shave ice when it goes away!

Daughter loved this place - perfect amount of syrup vs in Lahaina were they gave a bit too much. She got it about 3-4 times from this location
