The fire show and hula etc was great. The staff were very accommodating. The food was excellent. My complaint was time management- we were advised by our concierge to arrive by 4:30 - then couldn’t sign in until 5:00. The seats were uncomfortable. I stood up at the back because I couldn’t sit any longer and to get a better view. Our table wasn’t sent for the food buffet until 6:15- maybe later. The real show wasn’t until about 7:30.

It's been a while since I went to Luau. This was nice entertaining. It's always nice to share the cultural experiences. But they seem to all be alike nothing to really say them apart. But it's definitely worth going at least once.

I had high hopes for the Wailele Luau, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. The overall experience felt more like a tourist assembly line than an authentic cultural celebration.
The food was…fine. While there were a few standout dishes, most of the buffet felt pretty average, especially considering the price. The dessert options were limited and unremarkable.
As for the show, while the performers were undoubtedly talented, the storytelling felt rushed, and some parts seemed geared more toward clichés than cultural depth. The fire dancing was impressive, but by that point, I was already checked out.
Overall, Wailele Luau is okay if you’ve never been to a luau before, but if you’re looking for something memorable and authentic, this might not be it. Try the Old Lahaina Luau.

$350 for two people. We sat at a table of 8 and were completely ignored by our waiter because we were not drinking. Waited over an hour to eat. The food in the buffet was just average. I can’t say there was anything I would go back for seconds. The show was amazing but not worth what we paid. So disappointed. This was my first luau.

Food was... Meh, but the entertainment was good. I still think it was over priced for what you get, and to go along with literally every answer you will get for a luau - it's "fine" to do it once, but you'll never go a second time.
We booked hoping for authentic Hawaiian food, and honestly this wasn’t close. The food was not good - giving cheap hotel food. The performances were good, but very repetitive. Service was also ok, but they were pushy with upselling photos and additional souvenirs.

I researched many luaus to make sure we picked the right one - I am so glad we chose this one! It was entertaining from start to finish and the food was excellent! The performers were amazing; beautiful dancing and the men who performed were awesome! Very impressive! We enjoyed it thoroughly!
