We stopped here for lunch during a day trip. Our tour guide had ordered lunch in advance. I opted for the garlic shrimps. They were fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn't like the Mac&Cheese at all. The dish was served in a box with plastic cutlery, which I found a little disappointing. But that could also be because we stopped here on a tour. Otherwise, it was a large restaurant with very friendly staff and was okay.
Although the pork sliders are on the appetizer menu, it is a lot of food. Fries are flavorful and crispy and the pork was slightly above average. But the coleslaw was bland. In summary, not quite worth the price. My server was super friendly but slow/mostly inattentive. The sweet hostess offered to set up a small fan since there were no indoor seats available. The atmosphere was nice.
Maybe we hit it on a bad day, but our experience was not stellar. Slow food service. Server was uninterested in helping any of her tables. Kept yelling at the guests and blaming the kitchen staff or any issues. Food was expensive and nothing special for the price. Took us 1.5 hours to get two meals in a nearly empty restaurant. (We sat down at about 12:30pm) Table next to us didn't even get all of the food they ordered and the server kept yelling at them to be patient because...
