Ganotisi's | Pacific Rim Cuisine

While staying at Four Seasons Lānaʻi, we decided to wander over to the Pineapple Festival and stopped at Ganotisi’s because my daughter loves matcha.

What should have been a simple grab-and-go order turned into one of the most frustrating customer service experiences we’ve had. We ordered a single matcha drink, and despite there being no line and no one ahead of us waiting for a matcha order, we ended up spending well over 20 minutes there.

For the first 10 minutes or so, we simply waited while nothing happened. When the employee finally started making our drink, we specifically watched because we had requested whole milk. Instead, a milk substitute was used. She realized the mistake herself, stopped making the drink, and said, “Oh shit.”

What happened next was what really bothered us. Instead of immediately remaking the drink we had already been waiting for, she stopped to greet a friend who had arrived, took her order, and proceeded to make her friend’s drink first while we continued standing there waiting.

At that point, after already waiting more than 20 minutes for a single drink, we realized we were going to miss our shuttle back to Four Seasons Lānaʻi—and we did. We finally told her it was okay to cancel the order if she wasn’t going to remake it. She immediately agreed, and we left without ever receiving the drink we had come there for.

Mistakes happen. Using the wrong milk isn’t a big deal. What was disappointing was the complete lack of urgency, professionalism, and customer service. This wasn’t a busy situation. There was no line, no rush, and no reason a single take-away matcha should have taken over 20 minutes, especially when the order wasn’t even completed.

As visitors to Lānaʻi, it honestly felt like we were treated differently than locals. Whether that was intentional or not, that was absolutely the impression we were left with after watching another customer receive priority while we stood there waiting.

We love supporting local businesses when we travel, but this experience left us feeling unwelcome, ignored, and frustrated. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Ganotisi’s

The food is finger-licking good. We had the salt & vinegar chicken wings and they were extraordinary. This is a MUST have stop for lunch. The pastries also look incredible.

Took a day trip to Lana’i and had breakfast here. Never had SPAM before. Not gonna lie, it was delicious. Everyone loved their food and the coffee drinks were excellent

Hidden gem with fantastic food. Everything we had was 5 stars. Delicious burger, Korean fried chicken, salad, mac salad, and shrimp. Banana Lumpia was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Their prices are very fair, their offerings are many and the portions are generous. Possibly the best meat jun I’ve ever had, and be sure to get some chocolate chip banana bread on your way out for breakfast in the morning! Will be back again for sure 👍🏼

A good plate lunch spot in the heart of town. It’s about $25/person for a full meal with drink. The food is fresh and served hot and there is plenty of seating inside and out.

Lanai is AMAZING and Ganotisi’s PRC is one of the highlights - amazing food, amazing service and great value. Strong recommend for the garlic shrimp with kimchi. Much better than Nobu xxx

We had the fish and chips and korean chicken for dinner on our last night after staying at the sensei lodge. Exactly what we were looking for

I visited last month, and unfortunately it was the one meal we had outside the Four Seasons—and it completely ruined the mood.
It took exactly 55 minutes for our food to arrive. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, yet people who came in after us kept getting their orders first. At first, I thought maybe they had called ahead, but there were simply too many guests receiving their food before us.

After about 45 minutes, we asked why our order hadn’t come out yet and mentioned that we’d been waiting for nearly an hour. There was no apology, and the staff even questioned among themselves whether it had really been an hour.

We were a family of four having the most wonderful trip to Lana’i, and this was the only place that spoiled the experience.

Really friendly and accommodating! They have veggie options - ask for the tofu stir fry with garden salad. They also have garden burgers with cheese
