Great food and experience overall. Seems like locals' favorite. We went on Taco Tuesday and it was delightful with the live music and additional menu options. Only tiny issue was the very aggressive flies. Not their fault so just a heads up!

The location on the map is the actual Hote lanai too. Great time and time well spent.

This is a special place. The food is the best on the island (and I’ve eaten at all of the restaurants), but it’s really the character and the atmosphere that make it so memorable.

The live music is just incredible. The two musicians just seem to be having a great time. The woman sounds like Amy Winehouse. The guy is strumming the ukelele, getting the audience involved, and singing too. The owner of the restaurant joins them in the act for the last hour, singing alongside them while operating some sort of keyboard with his feet. He can go into the craziest guttural register I’ve ever heard, which gets applause and hollering every time.

There’s a 70 year old Hawaiian dancing on stage, then there’s a 7 year old tourist after him, giving it all he’s got, and everyone’s just loving it. We ask the table next to us what they just ordered, and he holds the rolls up to his stomach and says it’s his 8-pack. Joe gets off of work from the snorkeling tours, and the energy raises even further. He comes over, jokingly apologizes for not finding any octopus for us, and tells us to look out for him in the World Series of poker. It’s a bit chilly so there’s warmers on, and alpaca blankets being distributed.

It’s just special, you don’t get this sort of vibe anywhere else we’ve been on the island.

The chef, Christian, is absolutely gifted. The Hawaiian rolls were the fluffiest, most heavenly bread my wife and I have ever had. The
ragu, made with deer ethically hunted on the island every night by the restaurant itself, is maybe the best pasta dish I’ve had. We ordered it twice. The roasted beets, the tuna, it was all 10/10.

Christian and Mike are competing against the hegemony of Nobu here, and it’s not a close result. I’d come back here every night next time I’m on the island. It single-handedly changed my wife and my opinion from “we might come back at some point, it’s been a great trip, but there’s a lot of beach resorts” to “we’ll be back, and we’re bringing friends”.

Came here for a quick snack before dinner during happy hour and was blown away! The setting is a laid-back grill/bar atmosphere. The staff are some of the friendliest people we’ve met on the island.

We got the calamari, fried cauliflower, and oysters. All on the happy hour menu. The server told us the calamari is their most ordered item and I can see why! Everything was delicious! Fried cauliflower was crisp and flavorful. Oysters were fresh and a great happy hour find.

If you're looking for a casual spot with high-quality bites, this is it! Don't skip the calamari!

My wife and I ordered the catch of the day, mahi mahi, grilled sandwich. Both were undercooked but still very tasty. The spuds were very favorable. Would definitely go back.

Two nights ago I went to Lana’i City Bar and Grill and enjoyed it so much we went back the following night. The food is delicious and the service is also great. My favorite things I had were the hearts of palm salad and the smash burger with spuds.

Also the service is super quick as both times are were in and out in less than 60 minutes which is in time for the hotel shuttle!

Cute place but it was so loud I couldn’t hear my husband. The oysters were super fresh and delicious! The burger was bland. The fish of the day was fresh, wasn’t a fan of the butter sauce, it didn’t taste like brown butter. The chicken was tender. Sad they no longer have chicken wings or burrata.
