4.5 stars. Generously priced AND proper espresso? I’m impressed.

What I got: Iced caramel latte for $5.49. They were out of macnut syrup which was the only thing on my mind during our 10 hour flight. Quite disappointing, but I was still understanding about it. After all, $5.49 for perfectly pulled, beautifully roasted shots of espresso? Kinda hard to be upset for too long.

Atmosphere: The earth tones in here are beautiful. Simple, not boring. Clean, decent amount of seats/tables.

Service: The girl taking orders was pretty standard, but the lady making the drinks was very bubbly and had a pretty smile!

Vibes are impeccable. Coffee is high quality. I think I may have had a newer worker serving me, but when I asked what beans they had for pour overs, she didn't know what I was talking about. I then asked if they had drip coffee, and she said they certainly had that. She then proceeded to ring me up for a pour over. I decided that was fine, seeing as they visibly did not have drip coffee in the shop. This person also was the one to make the pour over, and did so without the use of a scale or timer. The coffee it produced was fine, but not great, and I think worse for the lack of precision in the timing. They also lost my wife's drink, making drinks for five or six other people who ordered after us before we realized ours was not coming out. I want to frame this around the fact that the beans, which I think are roasted in house, are great, but there is room for improvement on the service and the brewing.

Not a welcoming atmosphere at all- our presence almost felt like a burden. Additionally they were out of ice and multiple flavors. We had driven quite a ways to make a special visit here and was disappointed

Might have been the best matcha latte (with honey) I’ve had before. They actually used a matcha whisk and the honey added the slight sweetness which balanced out the matcha so well.

I must admit I am a bit confused. The Aloha coffee sign has been taken down. No pastries. Coffee was really good. You could tell it
had been roasted recently. I had to ask for a in house cup. I see most patrons are to go customers.
Past posts show a wonderful assortment of pastries, but none were to be seen.

Waited over 30 mins for a hand brew coffee which was barely warm once we actually got it. Guy working looked unhappy to see anyone come in. Told us it will be about 10 mins as he ignored making the coffee.
Worst stop we made on our Kauai trip.

They have the best coffee we have tasted so far in Kauai. The pastries are also excellent. The place is nice and bright. The team members are super friendly. We ordered Mac Nut Latte and Cinnamon Honey Scone. They are so good. Highly recommend this place.
