A slice of quiet and minimalistic haven in the most action-packed Lihue area of Kauai. I forgot to take a photo of our croissant but they do have proper croissants here.

We’re super picky about coffee, and this was the best one we’ve had on the island! And open early - perfect for the way to the morning boat trip.

This is probably the most legit croissant we’ve ever had in Hawaii. Flaky outside and soft layers inside. Delicious! And the coffee is excellent, too! My husband got a great Americano and I loved my iced latte—and I can be very persnickety. This place was a fun surprise! Well done, Aloha Roastery!

Great coffee, croissants and WiFi!
I had a cappuccino with milk, milk was too hot, no latte art. The water beside was single-use plastic.
If your focus product is coffee, make it good and not poor and serve it in a cheap inappropriate single use cup.

Amazing coffee. Probably one of the best lattes I have ever had. Reasonable price and simply perfect.

This cafe’s ambience is good. Croissant was excellent. Iced mocha was meh. I think they used Monin chocolate syrup? I’ve had way better mochas elsewhere but def have to come back and try just an espresso or pour over.

The americano was not that great. This place also has quality control issues. The first time, the iced latte tasted great. The second time I came here, the baristas were different and the iced latte was horrible.

4.5 stars. Generously priced AND proper espresso? I’m impressed.
What I got: Iced caramel latte for $5.49. They were out of macnut syrup which was the only thing on my mind during our 10 hour flight. Quite disappointing, but I was still understanding about it. After all, $5.49 for perfectly pulled, beautifully roasted shots of espresso? Kinda hard to be upset for too long.
Atmosphere: The earth tones in here are beautiful. Simple, not boring. Clean, decent amount of seats/tables.
Service: The girl taking orders was pretty standard, but the lady making the drinks was very bubbly and had a pretty smile!

Vibes are impeccable. Coffee is high quality. I think I may have had a newer worker serving me, but when I asked what beans they had for pour overs, she didn't know what I was talking about. I then asked if they had drip coffee, and she said they certainly had that. She then proceeded to ring me up for a pour over. I decided that was fine, seeing as they visibly did not have drip coffee in the shop. This person also was the one to make the pour over, and did so without the use of a scale or timer. The coffee it produced was fine, but not great, and I think worse for the lack of precision in the timing. They also lost my wife's drink, making drinks for five or six other people who ordered after us before we realized ours was not coming out. I want to frame this around the fact that the beans, which I think are roasted in house, are great, but there is room for improvement on the service and the brewing.
