One guy running it but man he knows how to cook... we had the fried chicken plate that was simply the best fried chicken we’ve had on the island. It came with rice, Mac salad and banana bread desert. Desert was so good. Also had stir fried sliced beef mini plate. It too was really good. The sauce was full flavored. Know in advance that this is a hole in the wall place. All food is take out. But totally worth it!
great food and service. Handsome chef

Food was amazing! Had the Moco Moco, pork roast & hamburger steak today and it did not disappoint. Great food and excellent service. Definitely coming back!

My husband and I ate moco moco and banana bread french toast at Epic Eats food truck while staying at the Cliff’s in Princeville. My husband and I are foodies and our breakfast was great so we decided to visit their local kitchen for lunch a couple days later. Here is my review: This cooked to order comfort food has irresistible island flavors! The southern fried chicken is crunchy, with a crisp, craggy crust and an island sweet flavor with incredibly juicy meat. Ricky’s Roast Pork has the Island flavor of slow cooked pork similar to Kailua pork. It has a tender and juicy texture and is smothered in gravy, or as my husband called it “man gravy”. Lunch was served as a traditional Hawaiian mixed plate that included rice and macaroni salad. And, the banana bread pudding has a dense texture that sopped up all the custard. This marvelous dessert was soft, tender and melted in my mouth. Epic eats is a must try when living or visiting Kauai. Although they have nice picnic benches to eat on, the food can easily be taken to the beach or your hotel room.
