Amazing find hidden in a little souvenir shop. They do some of the best shaved ice around as well as Filipino food and desserts including halo halo. It’s pricey at $16 but massive and high quality with housemade flan and ube ice cream. There’s limited seating inside but several picnic tables outside.

My experience was not the best when visiting this shop. The staff was not very helpful in explaining the shave ice menu. Decided to build my own where I would not recommend the frozen bananas for base. Flavor tasted old and texture didn’t work with the ice on top. Also, the mochi tasted more like marshmallows than mochi.I’d suggest driving a little farther from Lihue and check out The Fresh Shave ??

Stopped for shave ice, but the shop had very unique items. Figured we see the same stuff around the island so i didnt buy anything. Kicking myself now though because I didn't see the same stuff everywhere. Should have purchased stuff while we were there! Shave ice is very good here.

Little hole in the wall snack shack hidden in a gift store. The ice for the shaved ice is fine, so it is more of a snow cone than your usual "shave ice" which would be more crunchy. We got the build your own, with azuki beans, 2 flavors of syrup, and 2 toppings (mango and Mac nut ice cream). Total was $15.50. Mango was a bit browned, but still good. There is parking but no seating.Sustainably, if you bring your own spoon, you can be plastic free since the bowl is paper.

Drove here because of homemade ice cream. Ordered two double scoop cones. They were tiny and bottom scoop was slop before we walked out the door because service was slow.

This Shave Ice place was near our resort and they had a few things that a lot of other places did not. Island Treats had sweet red beans, mochi, snow caps and flan, yes flan as a topping. One other important thing they had was baby coconuts. My daughter had been searching for a baby coconut to drink/eat during our trip and this place delivered. Everything was great, but I gave them a 4 star because pricing was a bit high, which I understand because it's near a resort.

Disappointing shave ice. Same quality as what I would expect in landlocked Idaho at a carnival. Go to JoJo’s instead.

I found this place on Yelp and is highly overrated. Charged $10 for subpar shaved ice with a scope of Ube ice cream on top. The shaved ice is not soft, thin or smooth texture. It tasted like chunky ice. The Ube ice cream is overly sweet. Honestly and unfortunately, there's nothing special about it.

Shaved ice is a must when in Hawaii...the best on Oahu is Waiola and the best on Maui is Ululani...and for now this place takes the crown for best shaved ice on Kauai! The shaved ice were beautiful crafted like artwork. Not only were they aesthetic pleasing, they were delicious. I love the Hawaiian flag as a final touch on top of the dessert. It's the "cherry" on top which puts a smile on your face. This fun and cute shop also sell many snacks and souvenirs. Thus, it is definitely a gift shop as well. If I were to own a business, this would be the type I'd own because I love fun food and I love souvenirs and trinkets and stuff. If you're craving for dessert, come here. It you're looking for Hawaii souvenirs, come here as well. They take both cash and electronic tenders. As for parking, we parked by the beach and walked. There were a few parking spots nearby but we couldn't figure out if they were reserved for the other businesses nearby. It was hard to tell so we parked by the beach just to be safe. You can also park across the street at Harbor Mall and just walk. Overall, yasss the shaved ice here were so good!!!

If you want to try some authentic Hawaiian shaved ice, this is the place to go! I'd also recommend having the condensed milk on top. I wish I had this back where I live. I'd be giving them my money all the time :)

Went here based on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. Everyone in my party loved their shave ice. I ordered the #10 MixMix (see photo) and it was delicious. The Ube ice cream was really the star of the dish even though it had other goodies like flan, banana, kaong, purple sweet potato. After talking to the owner, I found out all of their ice cream is homemade! No wonder it was out of this world. I like ube, but I don’t go out of my way to get ube. Not my favorite flavor/dessert. But this ice cream and shave ice combo was amazing. They do get busy, it’s a small operation, and small shop; so patience is key. Highly recommend their treats.
