Amazing food, fast service, and a good price. Highly recommend the macadamia pancakes and the Filipino scramble. The iced coffee was so decadent

From the moment you walk in you are taken back a few decades and greeted with SUPER FRIENDLY staff that are in great spirits and laughter is pouring out everywhere! That also tells the story about the service as well.

The food is very tasty. I had the Kung Pau chicken and the helpings were GENEROUS.

If you’re into local tastes and supporting small businesses, this is the place to add to your list.

Didn't expect it to be a sit down and eat. The staff actually took time for small chat. I would recommend everyone to give it a try, and the food was AMAZING ?? ?

We had dinner here and it was great. Food and service were great. Breakfast not so much. Waitress messed up our orders, did not bring water. It was not crowded at all. They show a picture of french toast with a pile of varied fruits, but you get only 1 fruit and hardly any for an extra $5. Iced coffee is watery. And they charge 4% extra for credit cards.

My daughter suggested Kaua'i Diner. The establishment was formerly Dani's and we miss Dani's so much. She had tried Kaua'i Diner hesitantly but really enjoyed it, so we were willing to try it out too.
My daughter's favorite is the Custard Bao. It was okay. The Chicken Katsu was very tasty, and they use really nice pieces of chicken. I had the Garlic Shrimp Salad which was delicious.
I must say though, my absolute FAVORITE is their Iced Coffee! It's so new that it's not on the menu yet, but they had a poster of it on the wall. OM!! Just the was I like it!! May I suggest asking for only a little ice or ice on the side so you get more iced coffee.

Kid-friendliness: Great for kids, very low-key, local restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for walkers & wheelchairs.

Great breakfast place very near the airport. Huge selection and large servings. Fresh and good. Noisy though due to being so busy.

It was my first time on the island of Kauai for a Women's Retreat. On the way to the airport, this local find became a JEWEL of a place. My sisters and I feasted on a myriad of dishes. Taste authentic, fresh, and flavor that tickled your tasted buds and satisfied our appetite. Our server was EXCELLENT! Atmosphere EXCELLENT! #localfoodthebest
