One of the only restaurants(if not THE only restaurant) that is a must eat during return visits to Hawaii. Really wish there were locations in our area.

By far one of the best burgers I ate on the island!! Very friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. My wife absolutely loved the chicken Katsu burger, it was to die for!!! Would definitely come back on our next visit to Lihue again. About 20 to 22 per person!
Kenji burger is delicious. The food is fresh and cooked to order and they have a wide selection of items even if you are not a fan of burgers including poke. I got the Kenji Burger with Furikake fries and both were done perfectly. I cannot wait to go back next time I am in Kauai.
I don't get it. This place was terrible. We saw it on Guy Fierre an all the hype.....THE BURGER IS A PREMADE PATTY. NOT A FRESH BURGER PATTY. It's hard an tastes previous frozen. I've eaten lots of burgers in my time. You can clearly see in all the pics its a frozen chic patty or premade patty with nice topings to cover it.This one had to be the worst I've ever eaten an my friends also agreed an were shocked that the one served on the show was fresh burger an then they gave us hocky pucks on bread with teriyaki.....We ALL MUTUAL AGREED ON BURGER KING NEXT.
We happened upon this place but then we came back again in the short time we were on Kauai. We loved their back story and knowing it was just on this island made us want to keep eating there. It was amazing food! The Kenji burger was Amazing! Everything we had we thought was so good. We will be back next time we are in Kauai!

The burgers were yummy, the lychee shake or should I say vanilla shake with a touch of lychee flavor was meh. The service a little lacking, idk why, there were only 3 parties dinning, maybe because it was just the two of us so we weren't going to be a high check but I would have tipped better if it had been a tad bit better. My lychee milkshake came after all food so I really didn't want it, all melted so more like vanilla milk. They forgot the sprite for the other dinner with me, but still charged me for it, so I had to wait to have her remove the charge. It was just okay. I feel the price was okay too $42 and I tipped 16%.
Food quality and service were great. We enjoyed the sushi burritos - never had anything like them before and they were tasty. Sat out back which had spray bottles for ‘wild chicken repellent’ which was fun as well. Harmless, and you mostly just had to lift the bottle up.

We came in for the Miso Black Cod and decided to try both that and a Hana burger. Both were absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and fast and this has not only been the best tasting food we've had so far here, but also the cheapest. Really a fantastic experience and I suspect we will be returning before we leave the island.

Delish!!!!! We came for the miso black cod bowl and also got the Hapa burger. Both were amazing and very reasonably priced. We’re only in Kauai for a few days, but are planning to return for one more meal before we leave.

The service was beyond disgusting. The waitress came over and had an air pod in and couldn't hear us when ordering. We had to repeat our order multiple times. I was then told that they don't serve Mai Tai after repeating it multiple times even though it was on the menu and a couple minutes later I saw one being served. And to top it off one of our burgers were cold. What a terrible end to an otherwise wonderful vacation. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
