Stumbled on this gem on the way to the airport and it turned out to be DELICIOUS! The chicken parm was absolute perfection crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. The spinach dip don’t forget the spinach dip! It was heavenly, creamy, and addicting! The beef sandwich was hearty and delicious, the kind of comfort food that leaves you smiling. Honestly, every bite was incredible, but the spinach dip definitely stole the show. So glad we found this spot highly recommend!

KP Lihue was excellent. My waiter, Evan, was outstanding! He was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. The dishes were flavorful and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend KP Lihue!

The atmosphere here is fantastic, clean, inviting, and staffed by genuinely friendly people. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite match the setting.
The Caprese came with hard, flavorless tomatoes that tasted like GMO supermarket stock, plus just a small slice of cheese. Borderline okay at best. The lasagna was even more puzzling, just mozzarella and noodles, with the sauce poured on top instead of layered inside. The heavy, almost overpowering basil completely dominated the dish. Our other entrée wasn’t much better.
The bread was the biggest letdown. Tiny, with an odd, funky taste. I was surprised that no complimentary bread was offered before the meal, as is common at many Italian restaurants.
With its great atmosphere, spotless dining area, and outstanding service, this place has real potential. If the kitchen can elevate the recipes and ingredients, it could easily become a five-star spot.

We never leave reviews but after our experience we had to take the time to rave about KP Lihue. The fried mozzarella was one of the best things we’ve ever eaten in our lives! Chicken parm was moist and flavorful, as well as the roast beef and pepper sandwich. Brownie Sundae with ice cream topped off our whole experience.
Food aside, the atmosphere was excellent and Jacquie was a fabulous server. She made sure our drinks were refreshed without asking and was so friendly and prompt to help us.
5 stars all around- and that’s saying a lot for us!

I was pleasantly surprised by this spot! I ate at a lot of places around Kauai, but this was definitely my favorite. Of course, when you’re here you want to try all the Hawaiian food, which I did at plenty of local restaurants, but for the price, quality, and overall experience, this one stood out the most. The food was amazing—I had the Caesar salad, chicken parmigiana, and tiramisu (ask about it, it’s worth it!) and everything was fantastic. The Moscato was also really good. Highly recommend!

We had the cesar salad and the spaghetti with meat sauce. The flavor of both were superb and needed no extra cheese or red pepper. Portions were large enough to share. Micah was our server and was super nice and helpful.

We ate here while on vacation a few months ago and while the food was very good, the service was even better. Evan was hands down the best waiter I have had anywhere, ever! We got there right after a larger corporate event and he made sure to get our order in before the large group. He also made the effort to learn our names and actually remember them. He was also simply happy and cheerful. One of those people that just has a positive and uplifting presence about them. It was a pleasure getting to know him, and this review doesn’t even come close to expressing how good he was. Thank you KP Lihue for the great meal, but thank you Evan for the great memory!

Food quality has gone down substantially. My pasta was oily and bland. Also they charged $4 for some marinara for our calamari. Also added a $4 credit card fee that was not disclosed in advance.

I ordered clams linguine without cream. I make it myself and have eaten the best many times in the east coast and it does not contain cream the sauce is juicy. The liquid/ broth is the best part to soak the bread. And can you spare more clams also mixed in with pasta that’s how you cook it. It’s sad when a housewife with no culinary school can cook your dish way better then you. And that is an honest opinion not to insult , but Go me!
