Stopped by the food trucks for a quick lunch. The others were actually all closed so we picked this one based on no other choice lol. What a blessing this turned out to be.I had Kalua Pig and ordered my wife Pancit.The kalua pig was literally in the top 2 or 3 I've ever had. Full flavor without being overly salty. Great grilled cabbage with it too. I upgraded to fried rice- very tasty and similar to Japanese fried rice. So good. Even the side salad was great- mixed greens...
Ok I’m going to share a secret with you. The absolute, hands-down BEST Filipino food on the island of Kauai can be found in a food truck on Rice St. Manna on Wheels IS authentic Filipino food at its finest. I grew up in San Diego eating authentic Filipino food and over the years, I’ve tried MANY Filipino restaurants and have been disappointed in most. NOT HERE. This food is FRESH and made to order!
