Smiley's was our first meal on our trip to Kauai, and what a perfect place to start! We ordered the katsu chicken, beef kalbi, and garlic butter shrimp. Everything was SO delicious. Honestly, some of the best shrimp I've ever had (FYI shrimp is peel 'n eat). We also LOVED the mac salad, and think it was the best we had on the island. Order extra when you go! I wish we would have been able to return during our trip! Service was so friendly, and the woman running...

Simple order take out place serving really good Hawaiian food. Gets busy at times. Garlic shrimp is is 8/10, headless shell on. You get around 8 shrimps drenched in butter and garlic. Kalib ribs is another good choice (8.5/10). Small portion (3 ribs).

We discovered this place when we first came here many years ago and now is the 3rd time.. very close to the Marriott resort. No nonsense take out at reasonable price and hits the spot!
