Had time to kill while getting my car serviced. Stopped in for a quick breakfast and really glad I did. Prices were very affordable for the portion size and the breakfast was perfect. Nice little local cafe with good food and friendly staff. If you’re on Makawao it’s worth the stop.

We loved this little restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was excellent. I especially enjoyed hearing the staff sing along to the fun country music. Oh, and the coffee is fantastic!!

Yummy food and friendly! Split the Loco Moco and Açai Bowl for a healthish and filling breakfast/brunch/lunch after braving sunrise at Haleakalā.
Server seemed uninterested in serving. Gave only a flimsy plastic fork and no knife to eat a large serving of brisket slices. Ignored several requests for a knife. No response at all.

Restaurantji Recommends
We LOVE Ohana Island Grindz! They have the friendliest staff on island, quick service and great local food. We also went to their Keiki Christmas night, and it was truly magical for my 2 year old. The staff was so kind and generous, with so much to do and eat for the kids. They also took such sweet Santa photos for us! I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more!

Had a fantastic breakfast on our way through town on a Bike Maui tour. I had the mini loco moco pork plate and my mom had the açaí bowl, both of which were delicious.
The ladies working were friendly and talkative, even singing along to the radio on multiple songs. Just seems like the kind of community place you want to hang out and with great food on the menu, it’s worth checking out if you’re in town.

do not order the sandwiches from this restaurant. they are not worth the price. i think a well-educated twelve-year-old could make a better grilled cheese.
