VIDA by Sip Me Maui

I highly recommend to stop by this little charming coffee shop! We had two macchiato with pastries and enjoyed our break, more than expected. 🤩
The two girls serving are very friendly and made us feel like at home. And we even got small espresso cups! It‘s not easy for us Austrians to fall in love with a coffee place in Hawaii - but here we did.

While Visiting Maui, we decided to take our friends to Makawao upcountry to check out this beautiful little town with many cool shops to see and fun places to eat and drink.

We had an early morning and knew that a good cup of coffee would perfectly hit the sweet spot.

Luckily we found this delightful little gem, tucked in the back behind a couple of shops, VIDA by Sip Me Maui.

As we walked down the alley to find the cafe, we found a wide selection of outdoor tables for seating to relax, enjoy your coffee or other beverage and enjoy one of their delicious fresh baked goods. They also had nice seating and tables inside if you want to hang out and get some work done or read a little before heading out.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, took our order quickly and made it exactly as we ordered.

The coffee was great and they have tons of cool specials. They even had a special Thai cold brew coffee that looked fun and the person in line ahead of us got it and reported that is tasted great.

While hanging out at their outside table as we were greeted by a nice family of chicks and their mother and most likely the papa too. 🐣🐥🐓

Not only do they serve coffee, they have some great treats for health and wellness, cool stickers and keychains. They also had a cold case with canned refreshments to enjoy if you want something cold and fresh on a hot day other than an iced coffee.

Super glad we made the detour to check out this great coffee shop and look forward to our next visit to stop in and have a yummy coffee. ☕️

I got a plant-based cinnamon roll. It was absolutely delicious. It was big enough to divide into thirds and enjoy it over a few days.
The lady who waited on me was not friendly all. She made me feel like I was interrupting her and bothering her. This was Sunday afternoon, August 17, 2025.

They have a fantastic drink menu that will add pep in your step! The service is friendly and fast. Love the presentation of my drink and they have wonderful pastry options.

amazing! So good! I didn’t have to get any sweetener for it to taste good. I love the matcha taste and I also apparently love the taste of macnut milk. The place was so cute, colorful, and vibey and I loved that it was located down a little alley in between shops. Love the pink packaging!

Worst matcha latte I’ve ever had, the customer service is non existent the two ladies at the counter if can call them that, we’re just bad talking another co worker and complaining about their job. The pastry I had was horrible dry and overcooked seems they reheated it for too long. Won’t be going back

Had their mushroom chai latte it was pretty good, the vibe is actually pretty chill, I liked it, however the person manning the cashier seemed to not be the friendliest. But it’s ok maybe it’s just not her day. Would def come For a sip of coffee.

You really can’t go wrong here! A sweet, inviting, quaint little coffee shop nestled in the heart of historic Makawao town. Such a fun variety of drinks, you’ll want yo try something new every time… I know I do! Make sure to pair your drink with one of the yummy pastries. It’s a duo to die for🤤 Love starting my mornings off at Vida. That’s when I know it’s going to be a good day!!

Cute place, tucked away location. I keep trying the place and trying to like the place, but continue to be dissapointed. Today I had the worst coffee I've had in many years. They offered to make me another, but that happens every time I go there. Why can't they get it right? There's always confusion about ordering, like they're not even paying attention. Always some mistake, and I'm a very easy customer. Today was enough. It was like old dishwater, and I still tasted it an hour later. I gave the coffee back, told them to keep the money. Oh, and pretty overpriced, not very fresh pastries.
But.....
It's a cute location.

Coffee was ok, staff rather bored but the place has its charm. Nice to spend some time there. For malasadas head accross the street 😉

Awesome location and great coffee. Super place to sit and enjoy. Lots of spaces to sit at.
