I’ve been going to Mililani Times for the past 6 years, and they used to have some of the best hot prepared food at reasonable prices. They sold delicious beef stew, curry, and other local favorites in ready-made containers that were affordable and convenient for customers.
Unfortunately, over time, things have changed. They no longer sell the beef stew and curry made with brisket, and now their hot food is charged by the pound, which has become very expensive. What was once a great value for local families now feels overpriced.
One experience that really upset me was when my daughter stopped by after work to buy her favorite steak plate. She received a very small portion of steak, rice, and vegetables, yet was charged $14 for it. That is extremely disappointing for loyal customers, especially during a difficult economy when many locals are already struggling.
Another issue is that the hot food quality no longer seems the same. The food often looks like it has been sitting out for a while, and there have even been flies around the food area, which is concerning.
Mililani Times used to be a place I happily gave 5 stars to because of the quality, portions, and fair pricing. Sadly, I can only give 2 stars now. I truly hope management listens to customer feedback and brings back the quality, freshness, and reasonable prices that made this place so loved by the community.

I enjoy shopping here... they usually have what I'm looking for... the cashiers are usually very friendly.. and the employees are always willing to help find what I'm looking for (if I can't find an item) 😃 I like their produce... always fresh.

Open more registers. I hate using self checkouts. But with one register open and 5 people waiting to check out, I used self checkouts, doesn’t work right. Some always need assist.

Sometimes open. Sometimes not. Sometimes the menu is posted/on. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes menu is off, but they're open and serving. Sometimes menu is on, but they're not. Sometimes they follow posted hours. Sometimes they don't. Sometimes they close early. Sometimes they don't.
Worst early morning or late evening when supposed to be open.
Mid day is usually open for business.
But not reliable. So no can.

I just want to say what an amazing job the Time’s manager, Dale and all of the Times employees did tonight when the system had an issue with accepting payments. They were all cool, calm, professional and kind as always. Great job everyone! I’ll continue to call your store my favorite place to buy groceries!
