Fabulous coffee❤️ Many choices, little nibbles as well. Cardamom coffee cake was yummy.
Excellent coffee and people. Coffee is consistently wonderful. I ran out of coffee and just grabbed another brand at the store, what a waste of money. Horrible stomach acid and not enough sugar in my house to take away the bitterness. Thankful when I got my new supply of Big Island Coffee in. It really is the only coffee I can drink. Thank you for all you do to supply me with my only addiction. I have dealt with this company for awhile and I couldn’t find a nicer bunch of people. They have gone out of their way for me several times. Also, it was so cool what you did for Lahaina with your contribution. The world needs more people showing kindness to their fellow humans. Thanks again for your coffee and kindness to your fellow humans in their time of need.
We do not recommend to deal with this Coffee Roaster. They needs a lots to improve.
A simple chew with out the bathroom run, to my eyes wide open. Amazing taste of coffee from the Espresso Bites. Got my order to California within 4 days.
repeated coffee's and no peaberry sent during subscription, no response to emails asking why what is stated in your FAQ was not what was actually sent to members. Your coffee may taste great, but your customer service sucks.Edit to add: these are the coffees that I received in Sept 2022 (roasted in Aug 22) and Oct 2022 (roasted in Sept 22), as you can see, neither one is a peaberry. Also, the last email I received from you (other then marketing) was on January 11th. My last email to you was on January 27th. My subscription started Feb 2022 and ended Feb 2023.
Good Coffee. Kona 100%PB (bag), Kona Geisha (bag, previous offering).
Best coffee on Big Island hands down. Flavors are deep, rich and delicious. Favorite is Ka’u Morning Glory and Pueo Espresso
Big Island Coffee Roasters, and their vast selection of unique gourmet, artisan coffees is our portal to the Big Island when we’re longing for our “home away from home”. (Which is always)
Mimi & her team went way beyond expectations, to get our favorite coffee FedEx’d to Wisconsin. A+ product, A+ customer service: Mahalo, Big Island Coffee Roasters!
As long time coffee aficionado and home roaster, I have wonderful memories of divine Kona coffee experiences. Sadly, this was not one. Though I tried desperately with many different brewing methods and ratios to get the Kona peaberry to reveal the true Kona essence, the beans were incapable of going there. When I contacted customer service I was met with an argumentative response, which seems so unusual in today’s retail world. Brandon first attempted to tell me that I didn’t know anything. When that failed he dutifully recited draconian policies akin to a company that only cares about their own bottom line and not the customers. Oh well, I wasted some money and ended up disappointed and annoyed. Buyer beware.

God bless Oyama Herbs for his marvelous work in my life, I was diagnosed of HERPES since last year and I was taking my medications, I wasn't satisfied i needed to get the HERPES out of my system, I searched about some possible cure for HERPES i saw a comment about Dr. Oyama how he cured HERPES with his herbal medicine, I contacted him and he guided me. I asked for solutions, he started the remedy for my health, he sent me the medicine, I took the medicine as prescribed by him and two week later i was cured from HERPES,thank you Dr Oyama you can go through his page you can also email him via [email protected]
I'm extremely disappointed I ordered a 5-lb bag of coffee from them last month by the website it showed it was $225 per 5 lb not my mistake it's with their website said went to order another 5 lb bag and the young lady tells me it's 249 for a 5-lb bag That's quite a jump and it's too bad because the coffee is actually decent but I'm taking my business back to Hawaiian Queen coffee which is grown on their own farm and roasted fresh..!
I held my subscription for about 18 months. Big Island was great with communication and promptness.Of the 18, I felt 3 were the best coffee I've ever tasted. I didn't really keep track of the brands. However, there were also 3 that were maybe as good as the Kauai Coffee $10/pound hula girl coffee at the grocery store. But I mean, it's like that in a wine club or Grateful Dead show or whatever. The rest were in some awesome place but not quite there.
I had a terrific first experience ordering coffee from BICR. I received my coffee here in Michigan about 4-5 days after I ordered it. The packaging was so nice I almost hated to open the bag of coffee, but I was very happy I did! The coffee is great, and I will definitely be back again for more! The bag also had the roast date printed on it. Everything arrived exactly as advertised!
